We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced Singapore Compliance Officer and Financial Crime professional who will will help promote a sound Compliance culture across both Convera Singapore Pte Ltd (major payment institution) and Convera Singapore Financial PTE Ltd (capital markets services licensee and exempt financial adviser) through ensuring that there is an effective Compliance program that enables employees to take informed, risk-based decisions as they execute their business plans. Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of the Singapore Financial Crime and Markets Compliance regulatory environment and experience dealing with Monetary Authority of Singapore
• ESSENTIAL - Knowledge and experience with payment products domestic and internationally
• Extensive (approx. 7 years +) relative work experience with related bachelor’s degree (preferably a Law degree)
• Experience in a role related to AML/Financial Crime

What will you do?

• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and skill development programs to uplift QA team members’ technical and domain expertise.
• Design and implement test automation strategies tailored to diverse project requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, including 4–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing for web portals, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, TestNG, and Rest-Assured.
• Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with performance testing tools like Gatling and JMeter.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), code review workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Secure Hybrid Integration Pipeline (SHIP) and Hive Agile Testing Solutions (HATS) is a plus.
• Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to work effectively in iterative development cycles.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB-CTFL), Certified Software Testing Professional, Certified Software Quality Analyst, or CREST certification.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and establish quality assurance deliverables and testing framework, including estimate testing scope and time needed based on user requirements, create and maintain test specifications in accordance with changing requirements, throughout development;

· Create and maintain automated test framework using tools such as Cucumber/Selenium to support continuous development and testing, including prepare test environment, create and maintain functional testing scripts in accordance with changing requirements;

· Conduct manual functional / exploratory testing to compliment automated testing, including browser testing and system integration tests with other modules;

· Conduct impact analysis of defect fixes discovered during manual or automated tests

· Validate stories using acceptance criteria, raising defects as needed and work with development team to improve the expected behaviours and test cases;

· Conduct performance and load tests if needed, validate the output and expected outcomes and feedback on improvement required;

· Conduct application performance and security testing if needed, to ensure we have a robust and secured system in place;

· Work with Business Analyst on UAT data preparation and support;

· Work with DevOps team to establish process for deployment and maintaining CI/CD pipeline

Requirements:

· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in related field

· Tertiary education in relevant fields is preferred

· Experience in programming in Java / Python / NodeJs is preferred

· Hands-on experience with software testing including automated functional testing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, Capybara is preferred.

· Experience doing automation testing in Agile development process will be an added advantage

· Have SQL scripting skills
