ABOUT THE TEAM:

QA team is responsible for the quality and efficient delivery of software solutions to our clients, with a wide range of testing scope including functional test through API testing, static analysis, end-to-end test, as well as non-functional testing scope including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability. We explore and research a wide range of technologies and methodologies including debugging tools, dependencies mocking, automated test generation and execution, grey-box testing, and CI/CD, to see how they can be meaningfully applied to each project and achieve the highest quality outcome in a timely manner.

JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for quality assurance and version iteration testing to ensure functional quality of the final products.
• Responsible for the design, execution, and standardisation of non-functional tests and checks (performance, maintainability, etc) based on different product needs and user needs.
• Participate in long-term quality promotion work, including defect tracking, root cause analysis, version quality analysis, project reviews, etc.
• Explore and investigate various technologies, methodologies, and/or processes for improvement of software projects’ quality and/or overall test quality and efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or any related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance for software products.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:

- Automation test framework design and implementation

- Performance test design and execution

- Design and implementation of any testing tool

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: JAVA, Python 3.
• Proficiency in usage of Mysql, Redis, Kafka, or other similar data technologies.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin as a working language to to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and counterparts to understand their technical requirements.
• Priority will be given to those who meet the following conditions:

- Experience with grey-box or white-box testing

- Experience working with software that hosts large traffic or data volumes

Description:

• Support in day-to-day handling of AML matters (including activities in relation to AML Alerts review, PEP, periodic reviews, AML advisory support to business functions on AML/CFT policies and procedures, etc).
• Develop, maintain, review and enhance relevant AML & compliance related policies and procedures as well as proper control to ensure that the AMBER’s activities are in compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.

• Provide support for regulatory engagement and liaison with regulators and other government agencies and/or external audits on the firm.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, law or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Singapore and Dubai.
• Prior experience dealing with regulators and/or working at a regulatory body would be a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Reporting to Head of Legal and Risk, you will work closely with the business units and be responsible for managing the full range of compliance matters.

10 years of experience in a compliance role within a Singapore licensed trust company or MAS licensed firm would be advantageous (not strictly necessary)

Job Description

(A) Principle duties and responsibilities

· Manage, supervise and lead the compliance team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing training

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other applicable regulatory bodies.

· Monitor, keep abreast and interpret changes in regulations, laws and industry practices that may impact the business and communicate such changes to the relevant stakeholders and staff

· Lead, support and from time to time, update the impact assessment and periodic review of the firm’s compliance program to meet regulatory requirements and changes.

· Assist in developing, updating and implementing compliance related policies, procedures, and workflows that are related with relevant regulations and industry best practices e.g. notices and guidelines as issued by MAS from time to time

· Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and provide mitigation strategies

· Conduct gap analysis across business functions, as well as collaborate with stakeholders across the company to enhance compliance controls

· Oversee the FATCA and CRS due diligence and reporting

(B) Governance and Reporting

· Participate in client classification, risk rating, KYC and transaction monitoring. Familiarity with regulatory requirements of AML and CFT and other applicable laws and regulations

· Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters within the organisation and act as the liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors (including liaising with regulators on matters arising from AML/KYC/CFT)

· Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, including MAS reports, FATCA/CRS and ensure accurate and timely compliance with regulatory deadlines

(C) Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

· Review the client onboarding documentation, due diligence checks, and enterprise-wide risk assessment.

· Perform transaction monitoring activities, identify, investigate, and escalate any irregularities as part of the monitoring process.

· Conduct compliance and anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism training to all employees.

· Perform any additional duties or participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by the Head of Legal and Risk from time to time.
