Job Overview:
Electrical / PLC Engineer to design, implement, and maintain electrical and automation control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and programming skills and extensive experience with industrial automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff. Other platforms may also be utilized in the course of your work.
Create and maintain HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications, SCADA systems and MES as required.
Troubleshoot complex control system issues and provide timely solutions to minimize production downtime.
Develop and maintain documentation for PLC programs, including logic flowcharts and technical specifications.
Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Perform calculations, sizing and deployment of LV electrical and control systems.
Inspection, testing and troubleshooting of existing and new systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, experience in Semi-conductor field is an added bonus.
Experience programming PLCs in an industrial environment preferred.
Proficient in ladder logic programming and structured text.
Experience with major PLC platforms. (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, TwinCAT, etc.)
Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.(Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus)
Experience with HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with MES integration and deployment.
Experience with electrical systems and industrial safety standards.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Mix of office and factory floor environment
Will require travel to overseas sites including but not limited to, Singapore, Malaysia, China, India. Existing Visas not required, but is an added bonus.
