Staff FPGA Engineer

Summary

You will drive the development and rendering of FPGA images in support of our pre-silicon prototyping environments. In this role, you will work with our SoC design, software development, design verification, and system test teams as our primary internal customers for the FPGA images.

The successful candidate will have experience in RTL design, verification, and FPGA/Prototyping platform creation to support Design Verification, Validation, Software Development and System Test at the pre-silicon phase.

The person in this role must be comfortable in working with RTL in order to provide specialized changes to the SoC database specific to the FPGA development flow. This role will require defining and implementing internal and external FPGA timing constraints to enable repeated delivery of design iterations to the software and validation teams. The Service Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customer’s concerns.

Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementation, planining on-premises environment to public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Oracle
• Managing Kubernetes pod rotation, Scaling of Kubernetes deployments, Kubernetes labels and namespaces.
• Monitoring the Application Infra related Incidents/alerts from the multiple monitoring tools like Tivoli, Sensu, Onecheck
• Handling automation via shell scripts
• Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solution
• Provide technical support to software users
• Perform troubleshooting/Automate operations using AWS System Manager
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure that code is of the highest quality
• Performing the changes related to the application via the servicenow change management tool.

Requirements:-

• Experience in Automation using Slack Bot and Slack API.
• Strong foundation expected in Application hosted in the AWS cloud environment using cloudwatchwolf

• Expertise in Unix Shell scripting and automation via shell scripts.
• Demonstrable experience utilizing object-oriented patterns and design best practices is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

Job Scope:

• To carry out full-time site supervision as Resident Engineer as required under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• Contract period is 31 month to cover the construction of an mega warehouse development at Tuas Terminal
• Design & Build contract. Contract start date: Tentatively mid-Feb 2024
• Only 1 RE position to be filled

Remunerations:

• In addition to monthly salary, AWS will be provided upon 12th month & 24th month of service
• 3 months of gratuity will be provided upon completion of project.
