Job Description

We are looking for a Research Engineer who will be responsible working on a project on cyber security and privacy issues for IoT and cyber-physical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop techniques that detect attacks on IoT/CPS;
• Perform analysis and simulations to validate designs;
• Implementation and development of demos;
• Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, reports and presentations;
• Participate in presentations and demos for exhibiting work at appropriate events

Job Description

This position is for a full-time Software Engineer to join Keysight’s Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) organization, which is responsible for producing world-leading solutions in quantum technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communications and quantum sensing. As a Solution Developer, you will be part of an R&D team and launch breakthrough software solutions to market. You will engage in every stage of our product development process, addressing intricate technical hurdles in a customer-centric setting, while implementing a novel method for calibrating physical qubits as an Automation Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation tools for qubit calibration.
• Apply machine learning techniques to optimize calibration processes and improve qubit performance.
• Collaborate with quantum physicists and engineers to integrate calibration solutions into quantum hardware.
• Work independently as well as in teams to accomplish business objectives.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4-7 years job experience.
• Background in quantum computing and familiarity with qubit calibration methods.
• Strong proficiency in Python/ C++ programming.
• Solid understanding of graph theory and its applications.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of optimization techniques and high-performance computing (HPC) algorithms.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to develop teamwork among individuals and over geographically disperse teams.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, results-oriented, meets timelines, handles pressure while working positively in a collaborative manner.

Senior Testing Engineer

As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will take lead for the development of various testing capability for advanced photonics, including but not limited to chip-level and wafer-level testing of optical devices and electro-optical devices. You will work closely with an excellent multidisciplinary team working on advanced photonics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop various photonics testing capabilities for both chips and wafers, including design and building of measurement setups
• Optimize data acquisition and analysis process to improve test efficiency, e.g. automation of measurement processes for wafer-scale testing and corner analysis
• Perform chip-scale and wafer-scale data collection for OE, EO and OO devices
• Manage photonics laboratory including facilities management, health and safety, equipment calibration, inventory and stocktake
• Take on procurement duties for laboratory equipment and consumables
• Prepare technical presentations for internal meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in optical/photonics device testing
• Experience in experimental data acquisition and analysis
• Critical thinking and problem solving ability
• Strong skills in communication and providing technical presentations
• Values teamwork and fostering a collaborative spirit
• Skillset in programming or instrument automation is a plus
