The Tax Manager/Tax Executive plays an essential role within the APAC Tax team, working with the Tax Managers on direct tax and Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (“BEPS”) related compliance for the APAC region, as well as serving as a key liaison between the APAC Tax team and cross-functional business stakeholders on various global and regional tax projects.

Responsibilities: 

1. Corporate Tax Compliance and BEPS

• Prepare tax schedules and managing tax compliance reporting and payment deadlines and other related matters for approximately 30 entities within the APAC region, including working with external tax consultants and reviewing their deliverables.
• Prepare monthly tax provisions for Singapore entities.
• Prepare and liaise with external tax consultants on Tax Risk Management & Control Framework for Corporate Income Tax (“CTRM”) for Singapore and similar Corporate Tax Governance Framework for the APAC region.

1. Corporate Tax Advisory

• Advise on corporate tax matters, optimize the Group’s tax position and identify potential tax savings opportunities for the APAC region.
• Participate in various global and regional tax projects, including tax automation initiatives.
• Participate in tax incentive initiatives including liaising with the relevant government agencies and monitoring compliance with tax incentive conditions.

• Obtain, transform, and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
• Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs.
• Collect and analyse HR data from various sources, including HRIS, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems.
• Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws
• Prepare reports of data results and present findings to SHRM.
• Execute tasks in HRIS (Timesoft) and oversee HR data integrity.
• P-File Management; ensure full digitalization of HR documents.
• Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in related field with min. 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity
• Strong excel and reporting skills

Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and approve repair processes for Component Repair New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Follow up to resolve technical concerns raised and follow through till approval is obtained.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and engage Six Sigma tools for NPI process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent)

• Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification

• Track and monitor quality metrics (Yield, Losses, Escapes), and perform trend analysis to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
• Drive engagement & training of inspectors and certifying staff to ensure disposition & inspection

• Drive and promote Quality culture and participate in EHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
• Act as focal point for all quality matters and clarifications for the business unit.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Material Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent)
• Candidate with relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing processes or quality assurance role has added advantage.

Responsible for Metallurgical and Calibration Laboratories support to the business units and ensuring quality of products shipped for the respective product cells assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide supervisory and technical oversight of Metallurgical and Calibration Laboratories
• Responsible for safe operation of laboratories.
• Ensure training and competency of laboratory personnel to required standards.
• Ensure the compliance of laboratory processes to regulatory, industry and GE standards.
• Drive continual improvement of the laboratory in quality, operational effectiveness, productivity, and cost to support business metric improvements.
• Monitor laboratories utilization and efficiency to ensure manpower optimization.
• Manage and drive quality of responsible product cells assigned.
• Engage with Operational and Engineering teams to facilitate and drive robust corrective actions to improve quality, reduce workmanship / rework losses.
• Track and monitor quality metrics (Yield, Losses, Escapes), and perform trend analysis to identify systemic improvement quality opportunities.
• Support review of technical data change, approval of process change and new product introduction.
• Perform quality auditing as necessary.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Material Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in either calibration or metallurgy laboratory functions
• Candidate conversant with laboratory quality systems (ISO17025) has added advantage.
• Knowledge of aviation MRO 145 standards has added advantage.
