Objectives of the position:

This role involves Customer Quality Support for LAP’s product distribution, addressing customer feedback and product quality requirements/issues. The person in this position will be responsible for handling customer feedback or requirements, such as complaints, test data, and other technical information as requested. Part of the New Product Development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and supply chain, to mitigate risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards to ensure the flawless introduction of products into the market.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate risk assessment and mitigation activities during design, prototype and manufacturing phases of new product development.
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans that is focused on the voice of customers and adhere to required internal and external standards to achieve new product qualification.
• Support supplier quality assessments and collaborate with suppliers to achieve qualification on new products.
• Lead or facilitate problem solving and resolution of quality issues during launch, and support efforts to prevent future occurrences.
• Champion continuous improvement and lean initiatives to improve new product development and advanced product quality planning.
