Requirement

1. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
2. Min 3 years experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Quality Assurance objectives by conducting regular call reviews and highlight any potential risk to management.
• Review 15 of closed sales calls per day for General Insurance Team.
• Backup for Auto Insurance for Call Review purposes.
• Promptly report any calls detected with potential quality issues (e.g. misrepresentation, fraudulent) to Management.
• Prepare, track and send Quality Assurance related reports to UOB management and team. (NMD, Service Quality Monthly, Penalty Points Table)
• Keep track on all the status of Quality Assurance Cases from beginning to end process and provide update to management on a timely manner.
• Weekly meeting with management to discuss on discrepancies and solutions for further improvements.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Data Governance & Data Quality Engineer to join our Group Technology Team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of IT Strategy, Architecture & Governance, the Data Governance and Data Quality Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance and data quality frameworks across the organization.

The engineer will work closely with stakeholders across the business to implement data quality best practices and ensure adherence to data governance policies.

This role will involve establishing processes and tools, such as Collibra, Informatica, or Ataccama, to ensure data quality, compliance, and integrity for structured and unstructured data, including data stored in Snowflake, Microsoft SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality and Governance:

• Develop and implement data quality and governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Define data quality and governance metrics and implement monitoring processes to track the health of data across various platforms.
• Implement and maintain Data Quality and Governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Purview or Ataccama to effect and monitor data quality and governance rules.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards across all data sources, both structured (Snowflake, SQL databases) and unstructured (SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of data governance tools and integration with existing data architecture.
• Establish data stewardship models and workflows within governance tools, enabling business users to participate in data quality monitoring and issue resolution.
• Design and automate data quality checks and data profiling processes to identify and resolve data quality issues proactively.
• Work closely with data owners and stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Partner with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and ensure data governance and quality processes meet business needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data quality tools and processes, providing guidance and training to stakeholders across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to ensure data governance policies adhere to regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data governance policies, data quality standards, and processes.
• Ensure that data governance tools and practices align with industry best practices and organizational compliance requirements.
• Support audits and data reviews by providing evidence of data quality processes and governance adherence.
• Previous experience with CSV and GxP requirements would be a plus.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality management, and data architecture.

Other key requirements for this role include:

• Extensive experience implementing and managing data governance and quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama, Purview).
• Proven experience integrating data quality tools with data warehouses, particularly Snowflake, and unstructured data systems (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with data governance in cloud environments, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant QA experience.
• Diploma or higher education qualification in a relevant field.
• Specialized accreditations in QA or Software Testing preferred.
• Strong understanding of the software development process and ability to quickly grasp business and customer expectations.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and consultancy skills to effectively relay issues and insights to the software team.

Co-ordinate on quality matters with project team, conduct regular inspection to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA's good industry practice.

Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained, assist in yearly ISO audit.

Prepare Quality Control Plan, procedures and QA/QC reports.

Inspect the final output, comparing it to the requirements and approving or rejecting the final products.

Knowledge of welding inspection and ISO standards, familiar with CONQUAS, Green Mark and other essential BCA requirements.

In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Willing to travel to various sites.

Prepare Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

Prepare document submission for client's approval.

Compile and receive relevant material certificates and test report from suppliers.

Co-ordinate with relevant testing laboratories for material testing and witnessing.

Assist the project team on QA/QC matters.

Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards in particular metal works and facade works.

Degree / Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in metal work and facade industry.
