Role Purpose

This is an STA role primarily to cover an existing sales role due to maternity leave reasons. The applicant can expect a broad understanding of Asset Management and work directly with clients to meet their investment objectives, with a focus on liquidity solutions. STA will be for a duration of 3 months and option to extend depending on performance and requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure continuous coverage of CMB clients currently invested in liquidity products
• Prospecting for new leads and contributing to overall sales efforts with CMB clients
• Cross-sell into other strategies and work closely with Institutional Business team on mutual clients
• Contribute to the team's strategic priorities and focus areas
• Conduct teach-ins with various teams within CMB with the aim to increase collaboration and understanding of AM

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in working with institutional/corporate clients in a frontline role
• Prior experience in Private Banking, Global Markets, Asset Management will be a plus

Role

Be a part of the Corporate Secretarial team leaders who work closely with and assist the Head of Department (“HOD”) to independently provide Corporate Secretarial services to clients. The incumbent will also contribute to the development and implementation of the Corporate Secretarial strategies as well as management of the Corporate Secretarial team, facilitation, and activities with the Company.

Job scope

Requirements:

• ICSA qualified Chartered Secretary or equivalent related qualification with at least 5 years of relevant and related working experience. Prior work experience in a corporate service provider and understanding of Trusts will be advantageous
• Experience in public unlisted entities and non-profit organisations will be a plus
• Good knowledge of relevant provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Practices, AML/CFT requirements of registered filing agents, ACRA Bizfile and e-stamping
• Proficient in MS Office Skills and familiar with Corporate Secretarial software such as Viewpoint is an advantage

Job Description

(A) Principle duties and responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and lead the compliance team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing training
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other applicable regulatory bodies.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters within the organisation and act as the liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors (including liaising with regulators on matters arising from AML/KYC/CFT)
• Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, including MAS reports, FATCA/CRS and ensure accurate and timely compliance with regulatory deadlines

(C) Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

• Review the client onboarding documentation, due diligence checks, and enterprise-wide risk assessment.
• Perform transaction monitoring activities, identify, investigate, and escalate any irregularities as part of the monitoring process.
• Conduct compliance and anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism training to all employees.
• Perform any additional duties or participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by the Head of Legal and Risk from time to time.
