The Senior Finance Manager will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Executive Director. The Senior Finance Manager will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. She/He will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting. In addition, the successful candidate will oversee all compliance and recognition for government contracts and grants. · Engage the Finance committee of the board of directors and work with the Committee on financial plans and projections.

· Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, foundation executives, auditors, public officials, etc.

· Remain up to date on non-profit audit best practices and relevant law and regulations regarding non-profit operations.

Qualifications:

The Senior Finance Manager will be a seasoned and mature leader with at least 5-10 years of broad finance experience, ideally audit experience, followed by experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

He/She will ideally have experience managing Finance (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a complex non-profit with multiple funding sources including government contracts.
