Requirements:

• Min 4-6 years of experience in similar capacity on container vessels (a mix of containers and tankers will be considered).
• Recognised marine engineering or naval architecture qualification either at sea or educational establishment
• Good understanding of shore-based activities and implications surrounding the role
• Able to administer technical and budgetary requirements
• Competent using Microsoft office and other computer software
• Prior experience as chief or second engineer with sailing experience preferably on container vessels. Otherwise, sailing experience on cargo ships (container/bulk carrier/tanker) is required.
• Prior experience in dry-docking.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Safety Management System (SMS)
• Candidate with LNG/LPG/Dual Fuel experience will have added advantage.

You will join Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team housed within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization.

This is an existing role under the Private Pricing Channel Services pillar of 3PX, a team conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with the AWS Private Pricing program.

Key job responsibilities
• Autonomously operate within established frameworks to manage multiple, complex deal and contracting cycles at various stages
• Have highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising excellent judgement
• Take ownership of the contract process with internal and external stakeholders, such as Legal and Sales teams to drive deals to closure
• Identify, track and analyze key metrics to develop and recommend improvements

Basic qualifications

• 3+ years drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech/IT organization
• 3+ years leading projects/programs, influencing internal and external stakeholders with executive level written and verbal communication
• 3+ years using data and metrics to influence business recommendations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
