The role of EHS Specialist / Senior EHS Specialist to cover our sites at Tuas view, Ave 20 lab, Ave 8 Warehouse, TCM Micron and TCM Siltronic.
Objective is to ensure all sites are meeting regulatory requirements and EHS programs are implemented across the sites.

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the position is to:

• Ensure that corrective actions are taken for all findings and observation, and incidents are investigated thoroughly to identify the root cause.
• Support arranging statutory medical examination and training requirement.
• Review risk assessment and facilitate internal ISO 45001, 14001 and SS651 audits.
• Lead the Company emergency team and facilitate necessary audit and training.

Major Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS program and EHS Culture initiatives for facilities.
• Conduct audits and inspection to identify the potential hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local EHS legislation and company internal requirements.
• Ensure EHS programs are align with corporate EHS policies, objectives & targets, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651 requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to promote EHS best practices and lead the risk assessment for the facility.
• Lead the Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) requirements in all the facilities (incl routine inspection, training, and audit)
• Lead in workplace incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure corrective and preventive actions are adequate.
• Support Industrial Hygiene and Environmental monitoring activities in the plants, labs and warehouses.
• Drive ‘green’ environmental initiatives, ergonomic projects, and continuous improvement projects in the facilities
• Identify training requirement and conduct/ arrange necessary training.

Performs other duties as assigned by Senior EHS Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in related field (safety, environmental, chemical engineering, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of experience, preferred experience in electronic, semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical industry, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Teams.
• Good knowledge of Singapore environmental, occupational safety and health regulations.

Candidates with more than 5+ years of experience may be considered for Senior EHS Specialist Position.

Support the business with all aspects of shipping and logistics. Ensure all customs clearance is in line with Claxton Engineering compliance procedures. Be responsible for the timely, cost-effective shipping of all equipment whilst adhering to standard operating procedures and policies and applicable law. With responsibility for all goods exported and imported by Claxton Engineering.

· Creation of despatch/collection notes for equipment movement.

· Creation of import/export commercial invoices, packing lists and clearance instructions.

· Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure efficient shipping of subsea equipment.

· Obtain export and import entries to complete logistical files required to satisfy audit requirements.

· Provide logistical knowledge to all parties on site and identify means of shipping equipment.

· Liaise with all Warehouse and Logistics colleagues to ensure the efficient and accurate control of imports and exports, confirming full compliance with company and legislative requirements.

· Liaise with colleagues and clients globally in relation to shipments and document control in international locations.

· Manage and resolve any logistics complexity for Australia and South-East Asia destination countries.

· Ability to compile import/export data related to Major Exporter Scheme (MES) for IRAS submission.

· Capable of freight procurement negotiation.

Strong knowledge in dangerous goods (DG) handling and carrier shipping documents.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

REQUIREMENT

• Support the generation of cGMP documentation including qualification protocols, SOP and production batch record issuance.
• Co-ordinate internal review and approval of documentation
• Proactively progress documents to achieve schedule adherence and to site policies & compliance with cGMP’s.
• Initiating Production Change control, deviation, and handling of related CAPA activities, task implementation using Trackwise. Assist in the preparation of reports/presentations as required.
• To update and format documentation including SOPs, forms, logbooks, and label templates.
• Prepare label templates and print labels as required for finished product.
• Write/review manufacturing documentation (SOPs,Manufacturing Records & Logbooks) ensuring it is current, accurate and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Track and trend relevant technical and business process metrics to ensure operations are performing effectively and efficiently.
• To arrange quotation and purchase requisition all required production consumables.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Diploma qualification in life science, engineering or related qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a cGMP facility, in a documentation role is desirable.
• Experience with facility start-up projects (brown field or green field) is desirable.
• Excellent computer skills MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement efforts in QMS.
• Support in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/ preventive actions for process related concerns.
• Analyze and provide timely respond to customer complaints.
• Interface with Customer and Operations to ensure new product transfer to manufacturing are in accordance with approved requirements.
• Prepare Quality performance metrics and reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in Quality Management System in manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001. Knowledge of API Q1 is preferred.
• Strong command of English language, both oral & writing.
• Knowledge of metal working industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of risk assessment principles and methods.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Positive & proactive attitude.

Summary of Job Scope:

Responsible for technical enhancement of quality control and analytical development in QC Laboratory functions.

• Work allocation and arrangement for daily QC routine work
• Finish Product Quality Control
• Checking Report of "In-Process control of Tablet"
• In process quality control of intermediates (IPQC)
• Review and evaluation of Analyst test report and data to ensure test result is up-to date and accurate.
• Review and ensure QC Records and BMR are up-to-date, complete and accurate.
• Supervision of quality control check on raw material dispensing
• Management, Monitering and testing on sample.
• Monitor retained samples and waste of tested sample of intermediates and finished products.
• Environment monitoring and recording for retention sample room.
• Supervision and training of laboratory technicians and laboratory assistant and chemist in carrying out their duties.
• Responsibe to revise of SOP for IPQC and FPQC and relevant section.
• Verify and approve test result in absence of QC Manager.
• Calibration of laboratory equipment and apparatus.
• Ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) & Lab Safety.
• Optimization of usage of laboratory equipment.
• Support in the investigation and management of product complaints.
• Participate in process and cleaning validation.

Job Responsibilities

• Responds to Attractions recovery and repair of Ride & Show mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in USS (Universal Studios Singapore).
• Troubleshoots failed components using basic test equipment, schematics/prints and specialized tools, equipment and resources.
• Report to Team Lead during reset of Ride & Show system to ensure safe operation.
• Support Attractions Operation team on the safe evacuation of guests from Ride vehicles during downtime.
• Operate company forklift or specialised vehicle such as high-reach boom lifts when required for recovery of Rides and Shows (Training will be provided by company.)
• Operate equipment and tools safely in accordance with general handling practices and Safe Work Procedures.
• Logs completion of inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made and listing of applicable parts used.
• Generate the required Work Orders for repair work performed.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field of studies.
• 3-5 Years experience in troubleshooting and repair of basic to moderately complex systems which include - electrical/PLC controls, electro-mechanical devices, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment will be an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical problems and use good judgment in high pressure situations.
• Able to work at height.
• Able to perform 12 hours shift work, permanent day and weekends/public holidays.
