We are currently hiring a talented ERP Process/ Master Data Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Singapore. You will be acting as the first level of support for the team, using your SAP knowledge to support the MRP and Production Scheduling team in planning and execution.

This is a great opportunity to explore multiple supply chain disciplines in the team and carve out an extensive supply chain career within Lonza.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for SAP Material Master Data maintenance, integrity and governance for all MM views for Raw Materials, Semi- Finished Goods and Finished Goods.
• Responsible for Material Data integrity of SAP Bill of Materials, Resources, Recipes and Production Version for all Semi-Finished Goods, Finished Goods and Services.
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity of SAP MM / PP with the other SAP modules in use (SD, WM, QM, etc).
• Responsible for liaising with IT teams for SAP MM / PP system configurations issues and troubleshooting.
• Assist and support users with regular Master Data maintenance and upload to ensure data integrity.
• Full ownership of the update of Raw Material Specification.
• Support the revision of administrative changes Raw Material Specification.
• Communicate effectively with internal (including global sites) and external customers as related to the planning of raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished-goods.
• Assist with creation and update of documentation and procedures guidelines for ERP systems users.
• Ensure compliance with Supply Chain planning policies, procedures and ethics guidelines are maintained.
• Participate in Kaizen/Hoshin event(s) that provide the business with process improvements for cost and/or time savings opportunities.
• Complete necessary projects or any other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management of Business Management, Chemical Engineering and/or CPIM Preferred.
• Experience with maintenance, creation and/or modifications of codes and functions within an ERP systems. SAP preferred.
• Ability to self-check in an effort to ensure accuracy of work.
• Strong analytical skills. Prior experience using Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports is nice to have.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent Communication skills and attention to details.

Job Overview: The Product Specialist for Chocolates and Cookies (B2B Sales Focus) will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, driving sales strategies, and increasing market share for the company’s chocolate and cookie products within the B2B (Business-to-Business) segment. The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, experience in the food industry, and the ability to develop customized product solutions to meet the unique needs of B2B clients. This role is slated for fast-track to a managerial position upon achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), providing excellent career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. B2B Sales Strategy & Market Expansion:
   • Identify new business opportunities, target accounts, and verticals for growth within the chocolate and cookie categories.
   • Negotiate and close deals with key business clients, ensuring competitive pricing, optimal terms, and long-term partnerships.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
2. Product Portfolio Management:
   • Oversee and manage the B2B product portfolio for chocolates and cookies, ensuring that products meet the specific requirements of business clients, including packaging, portion sizes, and customization needs.
   • Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored product offerings and promotional packages for B2B customers.
3. Market Analysis & Client Insights:
   • Conduct thorough market research to understand the needs, preferences, and challenges of B2B customers in the chocolate and cookie sectors.
   • Gather feedback from clients to adapt and improve the product offering, ensuring that products meet their business objectives and contribute to their success.
   • Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to proactively adapt the product line and sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
   • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key business clients, acting as the primary point of contact for product inquiries, pricing, and support.
   • Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues, addressing concerns, and ensuring that business clients are satisfied with product quality, delivery timelines, and support.
   • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction to drive improvements in service delivery and strengthen client loyalty.
5. Sales Reporting:
   • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, new opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or product management within the food industry (confectionery or related experience preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage product portfolios and sales strategies in a business-to-business context.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use market data to drive sales strategies and product decisions.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in selling to foodservice, distributors, retailers, or wholesale clients in the confectionery or snack food sector.
• Ability to create customized product solutions and marketing materials for B2B clients.
