JOB DESCRIPTION – MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

Job Functions & Summary:

Assist the maintenance team in carrying preventive and breakdown maintenance for facility maintenance services.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

(1) Handle daily rectification and repair work in the facility such as leak, choke, lightings issue, air condition, Audio Visual and sound system, kitchen equipment, painting, etc.

(2) Respond to service call form other department personnel relating to maintenance issue to ensure prompt action and trouble shoot breakdowns and defects.

(3) Work closely with contractors to manage day to day operations.

(4) Ensure all facilities maintenance works are carried out with the least disruption to the business operations with appropriate with appropriate safety measures.

(5) Understand and abide to risk assessments.

(6) Maintain and ensure minimum supplies of technical equipment for prompt service delivery at all times.

(7) Keeping a record of all the day to day maintenance and service activities taken in the facility.

(8) Respond to all fire safety and emergency situations.

(9) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Position Summary

This position play a critical role in driving compliance and quality programs for Healthcare Transportation & Facilities and supporting the Healthcare Quality Management System to ensure processes and systems are compliant with regional and local regulations and customer requirements.

Job Scope

1. Quality Policies & Procedures: Determine, implement & promote policies and procedures for company’s Network and facilities (hubs & stations) to ensure compliance to standards such as GDP, GCP and others.

2. Quality Assessment & Standards: Write & review SOPs and Work Instructions for transportation & fulfilment solutions pertaining to the healthcare industry.

3. Compliance & Quality Program Management: Implement compliance and quality programs to support local Quality teams to ensure they are kept up-to-date and prepared.

4. CAPA Process Management: Lead in process creation and review of documentation on the implementation and responses to corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and monitor action progress until closure.

5. Healthcare Quality Management System: Develop, implement & support the system and processes, develop corresponding training programs, and acts as Super User for eQMS system.

6. Internal Audit Programs: Design & implement robust internal audit processes to ensure readiness of various functions & processes when meeting regulatory agencies & customer audits.

7. Certification Audits: Lead various certification audits with relevant regulatory agencies and certification providers across the region.

8. Operations & Customer Audit Programs: Lead & prepare for regular audit programs / random checks / regulatory activities to achieve successful audit outcomes and proper post audit follow up actions.

9. Healthcare Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers to understand quality requirements / issues / underlying concerns to advise on the way forward, provide advice based on interpretations as applicable to 3PL and resolve issues via conducting root cause analysis.

10. Healthcare Quality Feedback: Liaise, consolidate feedback from different functions to update and prepare final copy for Quality Questionnaires, Agreements and RFQ Proposals for customers.

11. Validation Programs: Lead the validation of transportation lanes and critical equipment like cold chain facilities, and packaging systems.

12. Depot Support: Provide secondary / backup support to healthcare specialists for market depots.

Requirements :

1. Hold local pharmacist license

2. Have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in warehouse, quality + QMS for pharmaceutical / healthcare industry

3. Have competencies in quality assurance / regulatory affairs, customer relationship management and root cause analysis

4. Have working experience ensuring compliance in accordance to Goods Manufacturing Practise cGMP,)/, Good Clinical Practises cGCP, Goods Distribution Practice (GDP) & ISO13485 for Medical Devices, IATA CEIV and other local certifications in a warehouse and transportation business.

5. Experience in conducting external and internal audits for regions

6. Must hold at least Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a reputable local or Australia’s institute.

7. This position require to communicate with counter part in China

8. Occasionally travel is required to sites and region warehouses.

This position is responsible for conducting audit checks to ensure that products meet the established standards, This role also supports the achievement of Company quality target.

1. Confirm to quality standard and quality processes

• Inspect in-coming and outgoing products according to policies standard.
• Perform all product processes within section (eg, QC,SAO), Reworks, Repairs, Defective photo-taking

2. Contribute to continuous improvement

• Maintain Integrity accuracy and completeness of Supplier invoice data and QC data in system
• Establish standard operating procedures and conditions for handling storage and checklist of stock.

3. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Gold quality control in retail jewellery preferred
• If no QC experience in retail jewellery then at least 1 year of experience in QC control in manufacturing
• At least Diploma in any discipline

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead and support QC team for daily QC activities by ensuring timely analysis, documentation, and review of RM/PM/FP/IPC/Stability and Process validation samples as per predefined standards.
• Write and / or review controlled documentation related to laboratory operations or testing such as SOP's, analytical protocols, analysis reports, forms and validation documents.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USP/EP/ICH/ChP regulations and internal controlled procedures in the QC Laboratory.
• Ensure readiness of QC Laboratory in internal / external audits.
• Maintain data integrity in Quality Control activities and ensure appropriate traceability.

• Initiate CAPEX for equipment purchases.
• Support in budget preparation for QC Laboratory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION: Degree in science or related discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years of quality control experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in managing team.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Possess working knowledge of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, good verbal, and written communication skills.

We are the University of Cambridge research centre in Singapore called Cambridge CARES, sponsored by the NRF CREATE program CAM.CREATE. Health-driven design for cities (HD4) is a collaborative research programme between the University of Cambridge, Nanyang Technological University and National University Singapore within Cambridge CARES.

HD4 sits at the heart of Singapore’s global research and development hub and paves the way for a sustainable and healthy city. It will undertake research in the following key areas: characterising the features of the environment that potentially impact health in Singapore; understanding the links between environmental factors, individual behaviour and health outcomes; observing the impact of environmental change on health in Singapore; simulating the impact of potential changes on the health of Singaporeans; and working with government agencies to co-develop data-rich public health tools.

The scientific techniques, technologies, tools and most importantly the knowledge gained through the programme will create a comprehensive systems view of how the urban environment affects population health in Singapore. The programme will train and enrich the talent pool of the next generation of researchers, and benefit from local and international expertise and an innovative interdisciplinary research ecosystem. It will provide the basis for a data-rich public health framework, supporting the development of a healthy Singapore.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Air Quality Modeller to join HD4. Working collaboratively with a team of population health scientists, geospatial scientists, and data engineers the post holder will lead on building various emission inventories and air quality models for Singapore which incorporate the various air pollution sources in the country and allow for linkage with the geolocations of participants of the Singapore 100K cohort (SG100K), including some geo-located behavioural data. The models will also be set-up and used subsequent scenario modelling to estimate the impact of interventions on air quality and health and disentangle the various sources through source apportionment. This role requires a multi-skilled individual that can work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with researchers to understand the data needs of the programme and contribute to the design of scientifically robust and policy relevant models linking emission inventories to air quality models and spatially and temporally assigning exposures for human participants in subsequent epidemiological analyses and health impact assessments.
• Data, identification, production, and assembly: Collaborate with team and external scientists, national and local organizations, and conduct independent literature reviews to produce and synthesise the required data sources with high temporal and spatial resolution and to link data across various sources.
• Data verification validation: Identify and use various primary collected data and published secondary data from peer-reviewed and grey literature to verify and validate produced emission and air quality model outputs. Ensure model robustness through cross-checking, calibration, and validation through multiple iterations.
• Model building: Build operational and validated air quality models and link their outputs to human participants in static (e.g. at home address) and dynamic exposure (assigning exposures to other locations outside the residential address only e.g. while travelling) assignment for diverse population groups.
• Support: Provide technical support and training to researchers.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for model development, verification, and validation. Support project reporting and paper writing and submission to peer-reviewed journals.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in emissions and air quality modelling, and exposure assignment, to incorporate new technologies and methodologies.
• What skills will you need?
• Education: PhD degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Proven experience in emissions and air quality modelling and validation.
• Technical Skills:

1. Expertise in emissions modelling
2. Expertise in air quality modelling and air pollution dispersion models such as ADMS-Urban and assigning exposures to other locations outside the residential address only
3. Expertise in geographical exposure assignment including for data with high temporal and spatial resolution
4. Practical experience of model building, verification, calibration, and validation
5. Understanding of health effects and health impact assessment methods
6. Proficiency with spatial analysis tools, databases, and libraries (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for GIS applications
7. Proficiency in programming languages such as R, more advanced coding e.g. C++ or Java would be an advantage
8. Knowledge of and interest in the study of air pollution’s health effects and its methodological challenges

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
• Provide secretariat support to the Technical Committees and Working Groups. This includes preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, report compilation, drafting of standards, etc.
