Requirements for Software Engineer (Devices):

(a) Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of one or more devices that are part of an integrated e-payment Fare Collection System. The successful candidate will also be involved in the software development lifecycle from the definition of requirements to design and development, and testing.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

• Requirements gathering;

• Design, development, and maintenance of the software;

• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Documents, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Training Manual, and other documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority;

• Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues; and

• Liaise with users on the requirements, design, and testing issues.

(b) Qualifications & Requirements:

 Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science or a relevant discipline

 At least 3 years in software development and system integration

 Experiences in C++ application development in Windows/Embedded platforms

 Knowledge or work experience in the following areas is an added advantage:

➢ Java application development

➢ Web application using HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and JavaScript Framework (i.e. AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, Bootstrap)

➢ Interfacing with database (i.e. MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL) using ODBC/JDBC and SQL

➢ Multi-tier software architecture design and implementation

➢ Object-oriented software design and UML modelling

➢ Virtualization using Containerisation (e.g. docker)

➢ Applications development and deployment into Commercial Cloud (e.g. AWS)

➢ Application development for Desktops / Workstations

Responsibilities

1. Primary point of liaison for service management of assigned customers.

2. Escalation management, able to analyze and identify root causes on service issues to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.

3. Work with Data and Process team to streamline processes and support for further improvements.

4. Present Dashboard reporting, daily shipment planning and shipment status update regularly.

5. Own and develop the regional relationship with the customer and defuse any tension that may arise and escalate accordingly when needed.

6. Track the performance of the whole network for the assigned account.

7. Follow up closely with Operations / Origins / Destinations to rectify the data issues or missing EDI transmissions till complete transmission.

8. Attend to queries from Customer, Operations / Entities on inbound and outbound with regards to events/milestones and deviation with reason codes.

Authorities

1. Execute control tower initiatives.

2. Ensure adherence to established work standards and work processes.

• Undertake all stages of Projects, from start to end.
• Calculate quantity of material for the whole project.
• Timely coordination and follow up with the Plumber/ Main-contractor or Consultant.
• Preparation of Shop Drawings, Beam Penetration Drawing.
• Submission of the relevant documents (Risk Assessment and Safety Work Procedure, method statement, material catalogue) as required by the Site Main Contractor.
• Co-ordinate with the Project Manager, Project Engineer and/or Project Supervisor on the projects and emails, support sites with drawings and details.
• Co-ordinate and resolve all technical problems from sites.
• Attend major site meetings, Testing and Turn-on.
• Update drawings as required.
• Perform regular updates on project status for meetings.
• Track progress of sites.
• Co-ordinate with all other Engineers and Supervisors for site progress, logistics and manpower scheduling.
• Liaison with clients for remote trouble shooting and advice in servicing and maintenance
• Assist in scheduling Service Technicians and manpower coordination
• Assist in document submissions and controlling
• Tracking and follow-up for every service and maintenance cases
• Review project schedules and ensure timely submission of documents to Authorities.
• Ability to work closely with Engineer for various Project phases.
• All drawings and correspondences must be well documented.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when instructed by Management.

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible to:
- Maintain and ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System in Singapore,
- Perform product complaints handling for Singapore,
- Perform Adverse Events reporting to local regulatory authorities of Singapore,
- Perform Field Safety Corrective Actions and reporting for Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance for all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) of Singapore Distribution Centre (DC), including maintenance, continued compliance, and certification.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance to relevant applicable standards such as GDPMDS (Singapore)

• Be responsible for operational quality matters including product hold in Singapore.

• Act as the Complaints Handling unit for Singapore.
• Conduct training of staff in QMS to ensure relevant staff are trained to the latest revision of procedures.

• To perform assessment and adverse event reporting to local authorities of Singapore.
• Execute Field Safety Corrective Actions (FSCA) in Singapore, including reporting to local authorities.

• Manage outsourced activities to ensure vendors meet the Cook Medical's quality standards.

• Coordinate or investigate CAPA to ensure nonconformances are addressed effectively.

• Schedule and perform internal audits. Host or support external audits.

• Perform trending and produce metrics for DC performance, measuring against key performance indicators.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with Global policies and procedures and to implement locally.

• Participate in global projects and meetings if applicable.

• Act as the local contact person for Data Protection facilitation.

• Perform other tasks assigned by Manager.

• Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the COOK Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years working experience as quality assurance in the medical device field.

• Degree in Science, Engineering or other related discipline.
• Experience in adverse event assessment and reporting for Singapore.
• Experience in Field Safety Corrective Action execution and reporting for Singapore.
• Experience in multinational medical device company preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with people from different levels internally and externally.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills. Able to perform duties with limited supervision and meet deadline.

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• Skilled in document management.
• High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Multi-tasks and able to prioritize the job tasks, depending on the urgency.
