• Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Word & Excel
• The role will require the person to be able to move heavy boxes up to 15 KG during process like transfer of samples/stocks checking.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AM materials development, manage projects involving multiple stakeholders. Use materials-process-performance research methods to investigate, solve, and deliver project objectives.
• Lead metal AM application and parts development projects including parts selection, design, prototyping and manufacturing
• Operation of metal AM machines and auxiliary equipment, including maintenance troubleshooting, and risk assessment
• Execute customer projects using AM materials and applications knowledge, to meet project deliverables and deadlines. Support in FEM simulation for DfAM.
• Provide technical support for addressing technical inquiries related to the development process, quality assurance, and analytical problems.
• Produce technical reports and presentations for AM project development

Job Requirements

• Masters/PhD in Engineering, Mechanical/Materials or equivalent
• 5-7 years of working experience with AM materials-process-performance characterization and analytical tools.
• Experience in LMD and/or L-PBF machine operations
• Proficient in 3D modelling and 2D drawing using Solidworks
• Experience in CAM and Siemens NX
• Experience in FEA/FEM
• Strong understanding of LMD process and materials, key process variables.
• Experience with parameters development, material characterization methods
• Experience with LMD machine operation
• Proficient in statistical tools like DOE
• Familiar with metal AM process chain
• Able to work independently and self-motivated

• To plan, coordinate and execute quality assurance and quality control of project.
• To ensure all products are executed in accordance to contract specifications.
• To liaise and coordinates with suppliers / sub-contractors to ensure quality control.
• Facilitate in monitoring material status updates and traceability records while maintaining scheduled workload.
• To conduct QC inspection and record on all the incoming materials.
• To record all inspection results in the appropriate inspection records.
• To highlight to superiors all non-conformities found during inspections.
• Facilitate on off-site inspection/ sampling / testing and submission of materials
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment and aiming for zero accident
• Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements
• To prepare all the Quality-related reports.
