Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Attend to complaints/ reporting of breakdown of services within the hotel premises.
• Diagnostic testing and inspection for all electrical and mechanical equipment, sanitary and plumbing system, and arrangement of faulty items for repair work.
• Diagnostic testing and inspection of air-conditioning system including fan coil unit, compressor, control IC board and piping works for both preventive and repair work.
• Managing stocks for M&E spare parts, electrical works, sanitary and tracking of stock level.
• Ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Our data engineering team designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and architectures to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility across the organization. The team works collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize data integration, storage, and retrieval processes.

Essential Functions:

· In a group effort together with your team, you are shaping and designing our BI and data-architecture solution in the Cloud.

· You are developing data solutions with several platform technologies (e.g. Databricks, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).

· You are developing low-code solutions with Power Platform.

· You have comprehensive knowledge of DevOps principles.

· You are working on the development of our integrated data layer as the foundation of implementing data-driven analysis and reports using SQL and PySpark.

· You are supporting our development team in their selection and implementation of suitable data technologies.

· You are examining and evaluating new developments in the field of data technologies.

Skill Requirements:

· Successfully completed training or studies in the field of IT

· You have worked with databases or BI environments for more than 3 years, ETL/ELT experience with data integration and data processing.

· You are already experienced in working with different types of database technologies, scalable big data storage, preferable Azure Data Lake Storage.

· You are experienced in working with cloud technologies and cloud-based data-integration tools.

· Further to that, you are ideally familiar with agile project-processes (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) and you bring along some knowledge in Atlassian Suite (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo).

· You are solution-driven, proactive and a team player.

Section A: Objectives/Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will support the execution of planned changes at our Singapore sites, focusing on hardware replacements, troubleshooting, and installations. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime during change implementations.

Section B: Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Network Equipment Familiarity: Understand and work with network devices and their components, including fibre and copper cables.
• Support Planned Activities: Participate in early morning green zone activities (between 11pm and 6am) two to three times weekly within Singapore, as required.
• On-site Hardware Support: Execute hardware changes, including the physical replacement and installation of network devices, plugin of USB media, organize the fibre/copper cables in preparation for planned activities and other equipment as per change requests.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during change implementation with existing hardware and consoles, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Console Setup: Provide console connection as needed during planned activities.
• Communications: Liaise and coordinate with implementation engineers, internal stake holders , providers and partners to ensure swift and efficient resolution of faults
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvements to reduce Infrastructure faults and improve monitoring capability.

Working Hours:

• Regular Hours: 8:30am-6pm SGT in Singapore Office, if no on-site activity
• Early morning green zone activities: twice or thrice weekly, between 11pm to 6am

Additional Information:

• Travel: travel within Singapore required
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move equipment as necessary, and perform tasks in various physical environments.

The Talent:

• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Good understanding of analytics and data warehouse implementations.
• Strong experience in Cloudera implementations and administration
• Strong knowledge on CDP, CDH and HDP
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resource to application stack traces.
• Strong SQL, data modelling and data analysis skills are a must.
• Hands-on experience in big data engineering jobs using Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Track record in implementing systems using Hive, Impala and Cloudera Data Platform will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps deployment and data virtualization tools like Denodo will be preferred.
• Understanding/ Hands on experience of reporting or visualization tool like SAP BO and Tableau will be beneficial but not required.

• Initiate Project’s Kick off meeting with the selected subcontractor and coordinating with selected subcontractors to ensure they are in line with company or project strategies and planning. The ideal candidate must:-

• Possess a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer Class II); and
• Possess at least 3 years of experience as a Second Engineer Officer onboard a container vessel.

The ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge of power plant systems and operations, along with strong communication skills to work with the project team. This role is crucial for ensuring that all plant engineering tasks are executed correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the engineering team at site to ensure that all technical engineering deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
• Bridging all technical communication between site stakeholders and engineering team.
• To provide technical advice and resolve / troubleshoot technical issues at site.
• Site engineers collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, engineering team, and other stakeholders for coordination.

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong technology knowledge on electrical equipment and requirements to assist the site team - equipment listed below.
• Familiarity with Singapore standards for power plant (at least 30MW size) installation and commissioning, specifically for voltage ranges from 0.4kV to 66kV.
• Capability to address inquiries related to installation and commissioning matters, including technical clarification and documentation work.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to be the main liaison between multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience in installation and commissioning in power plant projects
• Preferable experience with Singapore government projects
