RESPONSIBILITY

The Automation Engineer is responsible for the complete design of the electrical and control functions of new and retrofitted small to medium-sized control panels. SUMMARY

The SIEM Infrastructure Engineer reports to our SIEM Infrastructure Engineering Manager and handles production support and onboarding for our Elastic SIEM global customer instances. • Our SIEM Infrastructure Engineers are security problem solvers!  They look at the SIEM Infrastructure and think “problem,” first, “tool set” second.  We are tasked today with utilizing the Elastic SIEM to enhance our customers’ security, but we see other products on the horizon.  We seek a security minded professional who is creative with their problem-solving skills, adaptable with their tool sets, but also proficient today in the Elastic SIEM product. 
• Ability to work in a team:  Our US SIEM Infrastructure Engineers do not work in a silo!  They are in front of our customers before and after the sales helping to determine needs, find solutions, and outline work to be done.  They are supported by a global team of Elastic Stack Architects, Admins and Developers who also execute and support the Elastic implementations we envision.  We seek individuals who are able to work in a global team and pass work from shift to shift as needs require. • Ability to work independently:  This is a hybrid position that services customers across the globe.  Our staff works both remotely and in office for client meetings and presentations.

• The nitty gritty:  1-2+ years hands on experience in engineering and supporting a large scale Elastic Stack environment; strong event logging solutions for large corporations is preferred; experienced with multiple security platform administration or engineering within large-scale or global enterprises combined; understanding of Network Firewalls, Load-balancers, and complex network designs; good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, good command on Python, Perl, SQL, Regex and Shell scripting is preferred.
• Specific work history should include knowledge in Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Elasticsearch
• Clear understanding of Elastic's data onboarding process and CIM mapping.
• Ability to define and clearly express work required to customers.

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinate Gradiant Field Construction and manage Operation activities in Singapore and in Southeast Asia (as long as travels reasonably allow). Responsible for the Coordination, Operations, and Maintenance of Gradiant systems during construction, commissioning, operations and defect liability period phases. Represent Gradiant locally in compliance with Company culture and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Project Management, Procurement:

• Conduct Field Engineering during the piloting, construction, commissioning and operation/maintenance/DLP/after sale phases of Gradiant’s Projects in Singapore and overseas with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and commercial operations (e.g. process adjustments, chemical preparation, preventive maintenance activities, corrective maintenance, instrument calibration, membrane cleaning, troubleshooting, process optimization) as directed by Gradiant Operations and Process Engineering Managers.
• Manage Gradiant and/or its partners’ site operators in implementing good practices for plant operations and maintenance and daily operational activities through preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical training.
• Support the development, establishment, and maintenance of plant performance monitoring, reporting and improvement.
• Proactively report and investigate plant performance/reliability issues and propose practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee the relevant technical support to the operating sites, as to reduce unplanned downtime through failure analysis and corrective actions implementation.
• Support the preparation of the predictive and preventive maintenance programs at operating sites and closely monitor their performance.
• Participate in technical meetings related to Gradiant projects being executed and potential project opportunities as Gradiant’s local representative.
• Promote and support Gradiant after sales services, including spare parts, consumables, ad hoc operational and site technical support. Work closely with Engineering and Procurement departments to correctly specify and source materials and services.
• Positively promote a safe and healthy work environment and employ safe work practices at all times, including documenting incidents and recommending and following through on corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain efficient communication and information sharing between the Operations Department and Engineering/NPI Departments including writing and issuing technical reports and Return of Experience/Lessons Learned reports.
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your supervisor.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Candidate must possess at least formal trade qualifications. Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• At least 2 year(s) of experience in Commissioning and/or in Operations and Maintenance in the water industry is required for this position.
• Familiar with various water and wastewater technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills, writing and problem-solving capacities
• Reliable, well organized, and detail-oriented
• Fluency in English

Key Responsibility

The Inside Sales Engineer work closely with External Sales members as one of the main contacts for customers regarding product and services inquiries. The role involves managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, ensuring smooth coordination with other departments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

· Diploma or Degree in any Engineering related discipline or equivalent
