We are looking for a Commercial Sales Engineer for the Singaporean market who can solve our customer’s most complex problems. In this role you will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to best support them in their evaluation and ultimately help our customers choose Snowflake as their solution.

As a Snowflake Commercial Sales Engineer you share our passion for solving complex data challenges and helping organizations to get the most out of their data assets. Our technical landscape is ever evolving and you are keen to learn new skills and put them into practice on real world challenges. You are able to translate features and functions into solutions that solve business problems, in conversations with technical or business teams, with end users or executives.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

• A deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them
• Work closely with other sales engineers to make each other the best and constantly learn from wins and losses
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events
• Work with our ecosystem and implementation partners to build joint architectures or collaborate on account strategies and initiatives to help our customers be successful
• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
• Create and develop technical champions in your accounts to drive deals and achieve a technical win
• Be at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and confidently present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and/or prospects
• Immerse and enable yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

• Sales engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience (analytics, data science, data engineering etc)
• Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
• Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Ability to solve customer specific business problems and apply Snowflake’s solutions
• Customer-facing skills to effectively communicate our vision to a wide variety of technical and executive audiences both written and verbal

PREFERRED TO HAVE:

• Hands on experience with Python
• Experience working with modern data technology (e.g. dbt, spark, containers, devops tooling, orchestration tools, git, etc.)
• Experience with data science and machine learning technology

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure that supports our company’s IT systems. You will work with various teams to ensure that all infrastructure components are secure, efficient, and scalable. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for managing complex IT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud resources.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to servers, networking equipment, and storage.

Requirements:

• A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and networking hardware.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with database management systems and backup solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on business needs.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop and design infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Conduct site assessments, including soil testing and environmental impact analysis, to determine project feasibility.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant local regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
• Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control measures.

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in specialized areas such as structural engineering, environmental engineering, or transportation planning may be an advantage.

Experience:

• At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure design, construction management, or project supervision.
• Experience with large-scale projects in both the public and private sectors is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Revit) for design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of construction management systems and techniques.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership and team management capabilities, especially in coordinating construction teams and managing contractors.

Overview

As a Design Engineer, you will assist the Technical Manager in all the designing, preparation, securing required legal documents for all the drawings (i.e.: shop drawings, structural drawings, architectural drawings and M&E drawings).

Responsibilities

1) Prepare and perform design for precast component according to client demand.

2) Responsible in the design and preparation of shop drawings and secure permits required by the government.

3) Review completed structural drawings, designs and specifications before issue for production.

4) Check and highlight all the discrepancies between Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.

5) Co-ordinate with relevant parties on technical issues.

6) Plan & carry out production or service under controlled conditions – including product characteristics, work instructions / standard work methods, suitable equipment, Monitoring & Measurement (MM), release, delivery & post-delivery activities.

7) Ensure customer requirement are determined and met, thus enhance customer satisfaction.

8) Communicate to the organization the importance of meeting customer as well as statutory & regulatory requirement.

9) Establish the quality policy and objective.

10) Provide technical support for company operation.

11) Train, brief & supervise work and control process to work instructions / standard work methods and process plans.

12) Ensure planning & integrity of the Quality Management system (QMS).

13) Ensure Responsibility & Authority are defined & communicated.

14) Address customer satisfaction though the effective application of system, including processes for continual improvement and the prevention of non-conformity.

Requirements

1) Bachelor degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.

4) Prosses excellent problem definition / analytical and problem solving skills.

5) Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent customer relation skills.

6) Able to work independently.

7) A team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks.
