Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the research and development & architecture of the international e-commerce logistics system, to provide efficient and intelligent solutions for international e-commerce.

- Design a system model and business architecture that meets international business needs and has scalability based on business characteristics and industry best practices.

- Provide effective solutions for technical problems such as high concurrency and performance bottlenecks in the business process.

- Maintain the quality and stability of the system, and guide engineers at all levels to continuously optimize various technical indicators of the system.

- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.

- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

- Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline.

- Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in at least one mainstream programming language such as Java/Golang/C++, and related technology stacks.

- Familiar with commonly used middleware, such as message queues, caches, scheduled tasks, etc., and understand the principles of middleware.

- Possess certain experience in architecture design and implementation, and have a good accumulation in high-availability, high-performance, and high-scalability architectures.

- Deeply understand the related theories of distributed systems, such as load balancing, distributed transactions, CAP/BASE, etc.

About the team

Tiktok and affiliate are developing the next-generation high-performance analytical database, with a mission to enable efficient and real-time data-driven decision-making on PB-level data sets. The initial product was forked from Clickhouse, after which large re-architecture had been taken place. The product now not only improves the efficiency of Clickhouse but also fits into the elastic cloud-native infrastructure with better scalability and resource utilization. With years of polishment in the internal EB-level scenarios, we are now ready to serve our business partners via various cloud vendors.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for quality assurance of data and cloud products, and R&D efficiency improvement.

- Participate in product requirements and architecture design reviews, assess the rationality of the overall technical architecture and related testability.

- Ability to identify system risks in an all-around way, and ensure the stability of the systems through functional testing, performance testing, online monitoring, and other testing approaches.

- Build a data quality assurance system to ensure delivery quality and improve delivery efficiency throughout the entire process.

THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading global company in the Chemical Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior EHS Engineer to join their team. This role will report directly to the Head of Department.

THE ROLE

As the Senior EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and practices across the plant to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all environmental, health, and safety-related issues and concerns
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation, reports, and permits.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment.
