Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure the database is up-to-date.
• Regularly review stock levels and usage trends to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary items before stock runs low.
• Prepare and manage detailed reports on inventory operations, adjustments, and issues for internal use.
• Document and update inventory procedures and policies to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Assist in processing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
• Schedule and coordinate the delivery of goods, liaising with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality and condition of inventory items.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with delivered goods to the relevant parties immediately.
• Work closely with other departments, particularly the finance and operations teams, to align inventory needs with budgetary constraints and operational requirements.
• Provide administrative support during inventory audits and end-of-year stock takes.
• Identify opportunities for improving inventory processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems or technologies that enhance inventory management.

As a Quality System Associate, you will be responsible for the customer complaint handling/ management/ investigation process and provide quality oversight for the site to ensure that devices manufactured are compliant to ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, Alcon Standards and Policies, and regulatory requirement.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Trend, analyse and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalate to supervisor/management as necessary.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead/support the implementation activities to improve performance and efficiency.
• Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to Alcon, QMS and Safety requirements.
• Complete Complaint investigation report and maintenance of complaint master list, complaint samples, SOP revision and periodic review.
• Perform Site's investigation (NCR, SAR, OOS, Complaints, etc) and Site's WI/SOP/Gap Assessment/Impact Assessment.
• Participate as site representative in the Vision Care Complaints community at Global Corporate Platform.
• Lead/Host the site Customer Complaint Review Board (CCRB) meeting in the discussion on complaint investigations and evaluation of complaints trend.
• Support internal and external audits and is responsible for audit finding closure, as required.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues.
• Perform Monthly Technical Complaint Periodic trending (all platforms).
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor according to business needs

Quality Controller (QC) contributes to the production operations by executing general manufacturing and packaging tasks to ensure that manufactured and quality checked products are packed and ready for delivery.

Job Description

• Ensure that the quality of all finished products are in alignment with the management’s / ISO standards as well as the QC checklist
• Maintain integrity, accuracy and completeness of QC data and records.
• Ensure the Operations Officer receives all void products in a timely manner.
• Ensure that workstations are neat, clean, tidy and in accordance to packing SOPs.
• Ensure that products are prepared, cut and packed in accordance to company’s specifications and quality.
• Ensure that all residues are thoroughly removed from the products without damaging its condition & quality.
• Ensure that quality and quantity of the products are met at all times

Requirements

• Minimally GCE 'N' Levels
• 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector
• Comfortable with performing repetitive tasks

JD:

Should have at least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/ Tester or equivalent

position and the following skill sets:

a) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electronics

Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines would be

preferred;

b) Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality

Analyst will be an added advantage;

c) Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to details, good interpersonal

skills such as tactfulness, good presentation and listening skills;

d) Experience in the following would be advantageous:

i. Automated testing tools such as Tricentis TOSCA; and

ii. Testing for government public services.

e) Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to

interact professionally with all levels of the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

a) Understand and document business processes, workflow and user story;

b) Perform checks under both functional and non-functional scopes of testing;

c) Review, develop and align test plan, test cases, scenarios and strategies,

ensure adherence to quality standards;

d) Perform manual and automated testing using Tricentis TOSCA, including

preparing test data when necessary;

e) Develop and maintain automated test scripts;

f) Review, support and participate in functionality and technical testing such as

performance testing, security, interface integration and usability testing;

g) Review test reports and results of the Authority’s appointed contractors for

the Authority’s systems;

h) Collaborate and coordinate with system stakeholders and Authority’s

appointed contractors for testing;

i) Review test process and recommend improvement, which includes analysing

test processes and methodologies, identify area for improvement and

recommend process optimisations and best practices; and

j) Manage test activities and ensure the planned test activities are completed as

scheduled.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and production routings to ensure accurate understanding of part specifications.

Utilize Mastercam software to develop efficient CNC programs for milling operations.

Generate detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and process sheets for production reference.

Create CNC programs for horizontal and vertical milling operations using Fanuc controls.

Design and fabricate simple tools and fixtures to optimize machining processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve program errors or machine malfunctions.

Continuously monitor and improve production cycle times and associated costs.

Organize and archive all CNC programs for efficient retrieval.

Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment to enhance both productivity and product quality.

Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven ability to interpret and understand 2D and 3D drawings.

Experience setting up and operating both CNC and conventional milling machines.

Proficiency in Mastercam software for CNC programming.

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related manufacturing environment (preferred).

Fluency in both Chinese and English (essential).
