Job Responsabilities:

• Build and maintain advanced endpoint sensors on diverse operating systems including Windows and Linux
• Develop platforms and automation to deploy and manage endpoint sensors
• Develop backend data processing pipelines to process and analyse streaming data

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of one or more devices that are part of an integrated e-payment Fare Collection System. The successful candidate will also be involved in the software development lifecycle from definition of requirements to design and development, and testing.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

Requirements gathering.

• Design and develop software applications for embedded devices.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols (e.g.TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP, MQTT-S) to establish secure and reliable connections between embedded devices and on-premises/cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting of embedded devices to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, connectivity, performance and reliability.
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual,Training Manual and others documents as required in the SDLC
  processes.
• Assist day-to-day application support issues.
• Liaise with users on the requirementtesting and production issues

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Developed software in at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, and designing software using object-oriented software design and UML modelling
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Embedded platforms (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Embedded Linux).

We are hiring a Resident Engineer, an on-site position to join a Water Infrastructure project based at Tanah Merah, Singapore. Main duties:

• Provide technical civil leadership on all related technical, engineering, and contract matters.
• Liaise closely with the Engineering Manager (EM) and design team on the review and approval of contractor submissions including calculations, models, drawings, materials, method statements, workmanship, etc.
• Ensure consistent and thorough submittal reviews of the Contractors’ submissions have been done throughout the submittal approval process.
• Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with local Authorities’ and Project Specification Requirements.
• Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans and specifications are maintained across all contracts.
• Keep abreast of Contractors’ progress and performance and recommend improvements when a gap is identified.
• Lead meetings and discussions with Clients and Contractors.

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as a Resident Engineer with the BCA, or accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure projects in Singapore. Experience with PUB projects would be an added advantage.
