Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and project analysts to design and deliver robust, scalable, and efficient trading solutions.

Requirements

1. Education:

• Graduated with (Good Honours/First Class/Second Class Upper) in a (Bachelor’s/Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in software development or system design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong experience with electronic trading systems and a deep understanding of equity markets.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or similar.

• Strong understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and system architecture.

• Experience with trading systems, APIs (e.g., FIX Protocol), and low-latency development.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

4. Market Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of equity markets, trading workflows, and market structure.

• Familiarity with market regulations and compliance requirements in equity trading.

5. Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

6. Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

• Experience in implementing security and compliance frameworks for trading systems.

This role oversees the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries, managing reporting, compliance, cash flow, and audits. It ensures the preparation of accurate financial statements, supports banking and credit processes, and provides analysis for senior management. The ideal candidate should hold ACCA or CA certifications and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a finance team.
