Role Overview

As a Specialist 2 in Quality Assurance, you will support daily QA activities within a multi-product, cGxP contract manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong understanding of cGxPs and manufacturing compliance, coupled with the ability to operate independently on routine assignments.

Key Responsibilities

General QA Support:

Execute day-to-day QA activities per approved SOPs and policies.

Revise, review, and approve SOPs, protocols, reports, and records.

Make real-time decisions on floor process events, ensuring alignment with defined SOPs and policies.

Collaborate with individuals or teams to meet objectives.

Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Quality Systems:

Assist with deviation investigations, change controls, and CAPA implementation.

Validation and Technical Compliance:

Provide QA oversight for QC/DS lab services, engineering, and validation areas.

Review and approve validation protocols and reports.

Participate in deviation investigations and CAPA implementation using Root Cause Analysis tools.

Manage quality change requests related to lab services, engineering, and validation.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely updates.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in cross-functional walkdowns, providing quality feedback.

Lead and coordinate projects to ensure deliverables are met effectively.

Develop expertise to serve as a Qualified Trainer in specific areas.

Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) or provide QA oversight during audits.
