This position reports to the Markets Control Assessment & Testing Head, within the COO’s Controls Testing Utility. It is a strategic- and execution-oriented management position that is accountable for operational controls performance assessment and assurance for Markets controls as well as monitoring and testing tools. This includes the design and execution of control assessment processes, results reporting, and insight sharing related to the above scope of controls assurance activities. The role is focused on Markets controls to manage Compliance and Operational Risks but will operate as part of a team responsible for control assessment and assurance of all other Markets controls and controls owned by the Markets business segment. Coverage may vary from time to time to meet internal and external deliverables across the Markets Assessment and Testing team.

The Markets – Compliance Risk Control Assessment Lead directs a team of approximately six controls testing professionals responsible for supporting the above responsibilities, with breadth and depth on control assessment planning and execution. The position closely follows the latest trends in controls assurance, appropriate and effective control design, and adapts them for application within their own job and covered businesses. The role will require engagement with senior managers at Director or Managing Director levels.

Excellent management and communication skills are required to negotiate internally, frequently with Business and COO stakeholders. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for controls testing results and advice regarding the controls execution. The role necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for supporting the Markets Control Assessment & Testing Head on handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Markets Controls Testing Utility by leading a team responsible for assessing control design, designing control assessment tools and developing control assessment procedures, ensuring control assessment transitions, dispositioning exceptions, and developing insights.
• Carries key responsibility for Control Design Assessment (CDA) by influencing the design of the quality review process, defining the work plan, and resolving escalations.
• Performs decision-making of control assessment design activity, which includes approving/signing-off, undertaking escalations, and owning Internal Audit and issue management related actions.
• Has the ultimate decision on controls assessment outlier escalations.
• Handles control assessment interactions with senior managers at Director or Managing Director levels.
• Maintains relationships and drives accountability with partners and stakeholders to drive control assessment success in support of the business's strategy.

• Approves assessment procedures in Confluence and is responsible for delivering relevant procedures to Internal Audit reviews and issue remediation.
• Maintains resource forecast for own team as well as forecasting for successful controls assessment transition and Central Execution training. Supports team members on topics ranging from testing design and execution to performance management and control assessment platforms basics.
• Helps driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of MCA control design assessment testing.
• Develops and drives quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, operating guides, and owned control assessments.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years relevant experience, 5+ years in Risk & Controls roles, 5+ years of direct or indirect managerial experience.

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

As a FECOS Inventory Control – Probe/PC at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the management of the FECOS Probe team and PC (Production Control) team. • Production of daily P&L reports and consolidation of all trade book reports, ensuring its precision, consistency, and integrity
• Resolving queries from traders or other departments relating to P&L-impacting topics
• Raising queries to traders when proposed booking changes or business practices are unclear and bringing awareness and understanding to the impacts of deal changes or bookings to different departments, considering how it will impact them
• Validation of physical LNG and derivative deal entries ensure an accurate valuation within our ETRM
• Understanding the different funding requirements for futures and forwards and how it impacts various responsibilities of the relationship with clearing brokers and clearing banks
• Understanding and ability to calculate the impacts of IR and FX on P&L, working with the Treasury team to ensure the impacts are expected and hedges are correct or executed when required
• Supporting Finance in month-end financial closing processes explaining any provision requirements for the business
• Proposing and implementing innovative, more accurate, and more efficient processes and calculation methods
• Ownership of the Contract and confirmation management for financial trades

Requirements :

• At least 3 to 5 years of market risk experience within an energy or commodity trading environment
• Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, Altery, Python or equivalent, Data Analytics, Data Visualization
• Experience in commodities and/or P&L management.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with the headquarters in China.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to support the organization by rendering legal support, including trade compliance, export control, contract review, policy review, and other related support across all divisions and functions in the APAC region, ensuring compliance to various laws and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage regulatory requirements and their implementation
• Support investigations into potential breaches of regulations
• Manage litigation
• Review contracts
• Analysis of new laws, in particular trade compliance, export control laws and regulations and Sanctions for potential impact on group policies and procedures and advising on varied APAC regional issues.
• Provide Export Control support by working closely with the export control managers, APAC and other stakeholders and rendering advice to all businesses in the region covering Airbus Commercial, Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space, in a one-roof approach
• Support the implementation of the Airbus Export Control Program in the APAC region by giving practical advice and guidance in relation to the different elements of the programme, including implementation of policies and procedures, providing training to employees exposed to the Export Control risk and undertaking local risk assessments.
• Animate and support the local network of Export Control and Compliance focal points.
• Travel as required to support local Legal & Compliance (L&C), Export Control (EC) and Ethics & Compliance (E&C) teams (team meetings, business support, etc.)
• Work in close relationship and alignment with the L&C team based in APAC & Globally.
• The role could also be expanded depending on the extent of the candidate’s legal training
• Ad hoc assignments from L&C

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of legal and/or regulatory experience
• 3 to 5 years experience with export control, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or similar regulations, working in a multinational environment advising on trade compliance, export control matters, regulations and licensing
• Experience in implementing export control in SAP or similar export control screening tool
• Exposure in compliance towards Anti-money laundering (AML) would be added advantage
• Strong Project Management skills
• Good working knowledge of EU, UK, US and APAC law and regulations;
• Good working knowledge of EU, UK, US and APAC export controls regulations;
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Law or related field
• Fluent in English
• Multilingual ability is a plus, in particular APAC languages to be able to communicate and liaise effectively with stakeholders across the APAC region
• Legal training or practice is a plus
