Job Purpose:

This role ensures the overall support and stability of SAP Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) operations. The position involves managing outsourced vendors and internal support teams responsible for delivering high-quality support to AMS customers. The Service Desk Manager will act as the primary point of contact for issue escalation and resolution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Vendor and Customer Management:
  • Manage relationships for selected AMS partners.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients’ issue escalation, resolution, and project initiation.
  • Collaborate with business units and AMS support partners to meet business demands.
• Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day AMS support operations, including incident management, change management, problem management, and service requests.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, generate status reports, and maintain dashboards.
  • Drive the transition of projects to support.
• Process and Standards Development:
  • Develop and enforce efficient procedures, processes, and guidelines.
  • Follow applicable standards, methodologies, and best practices for system maintenance and support.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide proactive status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Strengthen customer relationships to enable cross-selling or upselling of SAP products and services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience:
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Service Delivery Manager in SAP AMS operations.
  • Hands-on SAP functional (Logistics module) or technical consulting experience in projects or support services.
  • Proven ability to manage customer stakeholders, including business users and IT managers, as well as external vendors.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in incident management, change management, problem management, and service delivery metrics.
  • Experience in SAP AMS support operations, including SLA management and report generation.
  • Strong understanding of project-to-support transitions.

The incumbent leads Factory’s Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects to ensure they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation, improve processes, and ensure the successful execution of engineering initiatives. The incumbent is also responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities and Duties

The incumbent will assist in managing project deliverables and monitoring timeline. Incumbent will coordinate with respective stakeholder internal or external to ensure smooth completion of the project.

Document the process along the way. Manage and document full process flow of:

• Responsible for delivery success of assigned project.
• Work closely with internal stakeholder to ensure systems and procedures are compliance to the Organization’s Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
• Sourcing for machinery/equipment/parts, conduct technical evaluation and submit propose for management review.
• Participate in Project Core Team meetings or Extended Team meetings to drive action to solutions.
• Organize project meeting and compile project status report to achieve project scope, schedule, resource and budget.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to address potential delays or issues.
• Drive operational readiness to support development builds and trial manufacturing build. Conduct reviews and compile reports.
• Participate in new process development, optimize existing process, and implement technical breakthrough activities through Lean / Six Sigma methodology to reduce manufacturing costs and/or enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and decision-making on complex engineering problems.
• Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure the application of best practices, engineering standards, and state-of-the-art technologies in all projects.
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Any other ad hoc responsibility tasked by the reporting Manager / Senior Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree and above / relevant Trade Certifications in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Industrial Engineer or related
• 7 years working experience (with at least 3 years in managerial or leadership role) in FMCG manufacturing companies in a similar role preferred or relevant experience in leading medium to large scale projects involving process improvement or installation of new production line.
• Able to read, write and speak fluently in Chinese and English.
• Abel to communicate in Malay would be beneficial.
