• Provide technical inputs in full cycle of procurement processes for materials and service requisition where required so that all technical requirements are addressed properly to protect company’s interest
• Identify, study, propose, and implement area for improvement in the field of instrumentation engineering to enhance operation and improve overall equipment reliability
• Supervise on-site contractors/additional supplier’s C&I technician(s) as well as C&I vendors to perform site works, review their work procedures and instructions to ensure compliance to achieve highest quality of work in a safe manner
• Participate actively in any meeting, discussion and initiative by team which is relevant to the job role and business needs in order to safeguard company’s interest
• Populate inputs into the Computerized Materials and Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured accurately. Provide inputs to Planning Engineer with regard to instrument maintenance activities for consolidation

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least three (3) years of working experience in the instrumentation field, or a diploma in the same fields with at least seven (7) years of working experience in instrumentation field
• Proficient in the codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff
• Hands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes

RESPONSIBIITIES & DUTIES

* To design, write & troubleshoot machine electrical & control systems for factory automation, smart-factory technologies as well as AI platform.

*To design and perform detailed designing for machine electrical control systems for Factory Automation, Smart-Factory Technologies, Machine & Equipment Manufacturing.

*To write Programmable Logic Control (PLC) program for automatic machine control & processes. Preferably, with Industrial PC (IPC) programming experiences too.

* To collaborate and work together with the Design Team (comprising of both mechanical & electrical members) for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects.

*To lead the in-house electrical staff and/or the company’s appointed electrical vendors on the respective machine control and electrical systems and operations of the projects.

*To lead the assembly members & technicians during Machine set-up, Machine Assembly Process, Alignment, Testing & commissioning in the Company and/or customer site.

*To spearhead meetings and review with the design team and the customers on control system requirements and specification.

• Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.

• Escalate to HOD or Senior Management Team (SMT) for feedback that warrants immediate attention or has insinuation of escalation to public forum or media.
• Track all visits, feedback, recommendations and report at Vanguard Rehab and Clinical Meeting (VRCM) platform or any other platforms when necessary or required.

Administration

• Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, resident feedback, and compliance measures.

Requirements

• Diploma / GCE “A” level / GCE “O” level / GCE “N” level in a relevant discipline
• Possess at least 1 - 2 years working experience in Service Quality function or quality improvement programmes in healthcare or similar setup.
• Those with experience in Nursing Homes and/or long-Term Care Facility would be preferred.
• Ability to interact in at least 2 of the languages/dialects such as Malay, Mandarin or Tamil to communicate with the clients and families.
