Role

Be a part of the Corporate Secretarial team leaders who work closely with and assist the Head of Department (“HOD”) to independently provide Corporate Secretarial services to clients. Job scope

• Good knowledge of relevant provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Practices, AML/CFT requirements of registered filing agents, ACRA Bizfile and e-stamping

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Science or equivalent
• Proven track record of 3-5 years professional experience in market research (in a Tier 1-2 management consulting company) or 6-8 years in strategy, commercial or market insights role focused also on driving implementation.
• Experience in tobacco is highly desirable, otherwise in B2B manufacturing industries

Salt is hiring an ‘International Tax Manager’ primarily be responsible for managing tax planning, compliance and controversy in our region. This will involve driving tax initiatives and technology, reviewing tax processes, helping with tax audits in the region and supporting the business teams in tax matters. This role will collaborate and work closely with the indirect tax team, accounting and other finance and business functions.

Responsibilities

· Maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external service providers in the Asia Pacific region, including the review of tax returns and tax forecast calculations, as well as technical analysis in support of statutory audit

· Ensure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricings laws and regulations

· Provide tax advisory and project management support on ad hoc tax projects as assigned. This can include tax treaty applications and responding to internal and external tax queries

· Assist and manage tax audits in the region

· Integrate processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and quality of tax processes

· Work with the Head of Tax to support the business teams in any tax issues

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Law

· 10 to 15 years of relevant APAC tax experience – tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax advisory and tax controversy
