What does success look like for this role?

The role will be responsible for the growth of CGA enrollments and re-enrollments in Asia, driving local awareness, inquiries enrolments, and retention among our families across the region. This role will be fast-paced, with a breadth of day-to-day activities and endless development opportunities with access to global resources.

• Support the development of CGA Asia’s growth strategy, with ownership of a marketing budget
• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of local marketing, digital,l and growth campaigns
• Own the CGA Asia targets and funnel; monitor the pipeline of prospective families and report on this with an analysis of marketing touchpoints and campaign performance
• Partner with our sales team to proactively ensure prospective families are nurtured through enrolment
• Design and create marketing campaigns with the Design team to create positive customer experiences and increase enrolment
• Partner with the global marketing team to tailor events, PR content, landing pages, social posts, FB, Adwords, emails & more to promote local events and initiatives
• Strategie and maintain an events calendar of in-person and online seminars, webinars, and panel events to grow enrolment interest
• Lead partnerships and business development opportunities
• Grow re-enrolments through a community-centric calendar of events and campaigns that you lead, in partnership with CGA’s global community team and school faculty
• Share best practices with global marketing and sales colleagues while adapting new ideas for the wider Asia region

What skills and experience are required?

• 5+ years of experience in marketing to Mandarin-speaking countries
• Native Mandarin and fluent English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the education technology or schooling industry is a plus
• Adaptability and growth mindset to arising opportunities and new initiatives
• Comfort working in an international technology company with colleagues from all over the world

Responsibilities:

· Hunt and secure new business and customers

· Meet targets and/or increase the organization's revenue, volumes, and gross profit

· Execute business development strategies and tactics

· Interact with local and regional vendors (including Air, Ocean, and others) on securing the best rates in the market for customer proposal purposes.

· Manage and analyze the performance of owned customers, identify the need for action and execute these actions

· Work on tenders/RFQs/Bids if required

· Positive internal stakeholder relationship management - Tech, Product, CS, Operations & others

· Contribute ideas on process improvements & implementation of related improvements.

· Execute and manage all other jobs as assigned by immediate and dotted line superiors.

Job Requirements:

· Ability to secure new business and customers independently

· Results driven

· Certification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain would be an added advantage

· Min. 5 years in a customer facing role in freight forwarding, shipping line, air cargo, logistics, supply chain or similar industries, in the roles of business development, sales, commercial, operations or customer service.

· Knowledge of customer retention and experience in dealing with customers

· Good consultative sales techniques and well-developed negotiation skills

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Operation Manager to support our business expansion efforts in the dredging and marine industry. The role involves assisting with market research, client engagement, proposal preparation, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of business development goals.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring dredging operations to meet project objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of operations.
• Oversee daily operations and address operational challenges promptly.
• Ensure that all dredging activities comply with local and international maritime laws and environmental regulations.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures on-site and onboard vessels.
• Conduct safety drills and maintain safety documentation.
• Monitor the utilization of equipment, vessels, and other resources to optimize productivity.
• Assist in managing inventory, including spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely acquisition of operational supplies.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, logs, and project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise and provide guidance to vessel crew and operational staff.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
• Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues during operations.
• Provide innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in monitoring operational budgets and controlling expenses.
• Provide input for cost estimates and financial planning for projects.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marine dredging or maritime operations (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of dredging techniques, equipment, and vessel operations.
• Familiarity with maritime laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational management software.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environments.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with frequent travel to project sites and onboard vessels.
• May require extended hours or on-call availability during project-critical phases.

· Responsible for assigned functional area of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application

· Participate in developing internal processes for application management

· Manage support process for assigned functional area of the ERP application

o Provide user support

o Manage issue logs

o Work with vendors to ensure that deliveries are done in a timely manner and to expected quality

o Test vendor deliveries and internal deliveries

· Lead or participate in implementation efforts

o Provide solutions for requested application changes

o Ensure that initiated application changes are well coordinated and planned before implementation
