JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible to the Managing Director in controlling the day-to-day operations of the Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) managed by the respective business unit and 3rd Party's OSV. Keeping Vessel Technically ready.
• To ensure the smooth and effective safe operation of the Company’s vessels, ensuring that all safety and regulatory obligations are fully complied with during the course of delivering the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to our clients.

• Making arrangements for inspection and accompanying regulatory authorities as may be required
• Monitor the expiry of LSA, FFA, trading certificates and ensure timely renewal and liaise closely with classification societies and Flag state surveyor on survey requirement. Keeping vessels in class and ensure all annual and special survey are conducted by surveyor timely
• To submit a monthly Technical KPI performance and status report of company fleet and vessel under its management
• To conduct technical inspection if necessary, on board company vessels as per ship inspection schedule and communicating with Chief Engineer and ratings to determine any areas of improvement, concern or otherwise and acting on such areas whenever possible
• Co-ordinating technical superintendents to ensure that the technical standards onboard each vessel and the required support from the share base is maintained

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Chiefengineer ticket holder preferred with more than 5 years sailing experience and 5 years of shore offshore ship management exposure
• Degree in Mechanical engineering or Naval Architecture with new building and ship management experiences
• Strong knowledge for barge / workboat / AHTS / DSV / MPSV vessel operations

Use BIM tools to coordinate the design among architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, ensuring clash detection and resolution are carried out effectively.

Ensure that the as-built BIM model is accurate and complete, preparing it for handover to the client with all necessary documentation.

Generate regular reports on BIM model progress, clashes identified/resolved, and any design adjustments needed.

Printing of project construction-related drawings in both digital and hardcopy format for distribution, such as Construction Drawing, Shop-drawings, As-Built and any other deliverables described in corporate BIM standards and Project BEP.

Attend client meetings and lead the decision-making process affecting the BIM deliverables.

Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting function of the company (including AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, GST, CbCR, Corporate tax and reporting etc)
2. Manage all accounting requirements (including operational, statutory, management and financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting)
3. Manage and supervise a team of accounting professionals and responsible for team development
4. Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, other professional, governmental authorities, bankers, customs, customers and suppliers on matters relating to the company
5. Responsible for all statutory reporting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters for the company and successfully comply with corporate policies and statutory regulations
6. To support Department Managers/related parties with necessary financial reports and analysis of operation performance in terms of profitability and efficiency, and play a business partnering role
7. Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and highlight reasons for variances and timely submission of report to Corporate Office
8. To lead quarterly stock take and accounts-related projects
9. Review and implement improvement in internal control and processes to minimize risk exposure
10. Ensure proper credit control of accounts receivable
11. Responsible for Fixed assets management, cash flow forecasting and control of company expenses, Capital Expenditure management
12. Review and formulate finance policies and procedures
13. Maintaining efficient and effective work flow system and make recommendations to management when necessary
14. Review current ERP system, assist in training and support on financial system and processes and lead system implementation if necessary
15. Other duties or adhoc projects as assigned by Management

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
2. Leadership quality with good people and supervisory skills and ability to manage change within the team
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player
4. Strong planning & analytical skills
5. Hands on, self-motivated, meticulous and committed personality and able to work well under pressure and adhere to tight reporting deadlines
6. Good understanding of Corporate Governance, Tax and Statutory requirements in Singapore
7. Available to start work immediately or on short notice will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of sub-contractor agreements and ensure adherence to the project timeline, quality standards, and budget.
• Monitor sub-contractor performance, including progress reports, quality of work, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Implement effective cost control measures, identifying and managing any contract variations or claims.
• Maintain strong communication channels with sub-contractors and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage risk, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in managing sub-contractors in large-scale construction, engineering, or EPC projects. Similar experiences can be considered.
• Proven track record in managing sub-contracts for projects, vendor, suppliers
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and quality project delivery.

Education

• Specialised in the Japanese market environment, prior experience working in a Japanese company or with Japanese clients is highly advantageous.
• Network of relationships with key decision makers in the Japanese market will be a significant asset.
• Global mindset with ability to operate effectively in a global environment, collaborating with colleagues from different region, cultures and time zones.
• Possess sufficient knowledge and experience in warehouse / logistics / planning business.
