Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory input and guidance on product requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate regulatory submission strategies, manage submissions, and ensure timely approvals.
• Oversee post-marketing compliance, including FSCA, product recalls, adverse event reporting, and GMS SS620.
• Review and approve product labelling, promotional materials, and change controls for compliance.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, assess impacts, and provide training to stakeholders.
• Assist in regulatory inspections, quality audits, and manage post-marketing surveillance activities.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in life sciences or engineering
• Relevant regulatory and quality assurance experience in medical devices or life sciences technology
• Knowledge of US FDA and EU medical device regulations will be advantageous
• Familiarity with IVD, drug-device/device drug, cosmetics or OTC products
• Good command of spoken and written English

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control checks and generate QC/Halal reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to SFA and MUIS regulations

• Perform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvement

• Conduct quality control and Halal inspection for customer feedback

• Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments, assist in marketing department’s recipe, videos and photo shoot when required

• Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement

• Compile/archive QC/Halal report related documents

• Assist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when required

• Assist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required

• Assist sales or other departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requests

• Assist to liase with Halal/FSSC/ISO Authority on inspection and renewal of Related Certification.

• Assist on planning and executing Audit schedules

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the food industry QC/R&D environment and familiar with ISO/FSSC 22,000 and Halal certifications

• Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated & methodical

Independent & a team player

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

• Possess basic cooking skills
