The Assistant Manager/Manager-Corporate Services supports the National Director in ensuring that the National Office comply to financial controls and administrative SOPs.
He/she supports the National Director to oversee the administrative processes and ensure that the organisation administrative and financial processes are operating effectively, efficiently and is compliant to standards laid out by Habitat for Humanity International.
He/she supports the National Director in ensuring the compliance to Service and/or Funding Model Standards through preparing the necessary reports for National Director’s review.
He/she assists the National Director to oversee the budget of the National Office and offers compliance advisory to the National Director when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Operational Managerial Duties
o Admin Finance Matters
▪ To review the Corporate Services and finance SOPs of the National Office.
▪ To provide compliance advisory to the National Director on all statutory and licensing requirements.
o Office Operations
▪ Together with the Programmes Manager, or its appointed staff at Corporate Services, to develop and review the implementation of the Programmes’ business continuity plans in the face of possible disruptions to the services.
● To develop and review, as and when necessary, management measures implemented across all National Office in accordance with regulatory requirements. To report to the National Director on the status of implementation of these measures across the National Office.
● Activities pertaining to the Compliance of National Office to Service Standard Requirements
o Assists in preparing annual compliance reports for ND’s review in the areas of service standards requirements
● Activities pertaining to the Review of Budget
o Supports the National Director in monitoring and development of the annual budget.
● Undertake any other duties assigned by the National Director
A successful candidate would be someone with
● A degree in administration or finance.
● 3 years of experience in administration or finance.
● Supervisory experience preferred.
● Is comfortable to uphold, communicate and affirm Habitat for Humanity’s principles (vision and mission); Pls refer to https://www.habitat.org.sg/about-us for details.
● Working knowledge of accounting system would be advantageous.
● Possess strong planning, organization, implementation and follow-up skills.
● Meticulous with attention to detail.
● Possess high level of initiative, a good organisation player.
● Engage in self-care and active learning.
● Possess positive attitude with good interpersonal and written communication skills.
● Proficient in MS Office.
