Job Scope

• Contract Administration – attend to contract matters related to the Client / Consultants and Sub-contractors and ensure that the site staffs are aware of the contract obligations to client and subcontractor work scope.

• Collaborate closely with project engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables and cost targets.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and contract administration systems.
• Conduct regular site visits and measure physical progress to validate contractor claims.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, analyzing project costs, progress, and any deviation from the budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in quantity surveying or project cost control, specifically in FPSO or similar offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proven expertise in cost management, contract negotiation, and claims assessment.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and project management principles.
• Proficiency with EVM, S-curve, and KPI indicators for progress measurement.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Proficiency in project control software and tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in shipyard environments.
• Familiarity with FPSO conversion and refurbishment processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of the main and sub-contracts.
• Monitor claims progress and issuance of payment responses.

• Perform Bill of Quantity Take-Off.
• Contract administration for clients, main contractors, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Administer contracts management to formulate contractual responses.
• Participate in discussions with clients and sub-contractors for assigned projects and monitor follow on meetings.
• Preparation of tender submissions, when required.
• Preparation and Issuance of Contracts to Sub-Contractors and Suppliers, Monthly Progress Claims to Clients and Sub-Contractors/Supplier, Payment Response to sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance with building contract law.
• Prepare cost analysis for the project in order to ensure that overall value is enhanced.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies to enhance the overall value of the project.
• Monitor and submission of monthly Cash Flow and analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• With 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in M&E will be highly preferred.
