• Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications
• Conduct quantity take off and estimate costs
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to prepare costing for tender submission
• Prepare tender and supporting documents for submission
• Follow up on any technical clarifications during post-tender stage
• Attend site showrounds and tender interviews
• Prepare sub-contractor agreement, work order and VO
• Monitor project progress and control budget
• Collaborate with Project Team to track work progress for claim submission to Main Contractor
• Assess sub-contractor's monthly claims and prepare payment certificate/response

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in Construction, preferably in handling ACMV / HVAC projects for building construction industry.
• Knowlegeable of ACMV details, local codes and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a good team player.
• Strong follow up and closure skills

Scope of works:

1. Can be team player as well as working as individual,

2. Check all invoices from subcon against contract

3. prepare costing and related documents for submission,

4. reply all questionairs from submission,

5. procedure a unit rate checklist for all sub trades,

6. controls all variation orders for all contracts,

7. submission for variation orders in a timely fashion for all projects.

8. covers admin duties where needed.

• Assist and report to the Project Manager.
• Prepare tender and contracts document.
• Competent in reading and understanding drawings and perform measurements.
• Competent in preparing Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare monthly progress claim and variation order.
• Attend site meeting.

• Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties, from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of subcontractors, particularly for M&E disciplines.
• Attend site briefing during pre-tender & tender interview during post tender.
• Contract / Sub-Contract administration, preparation of progress claims, variation orders, verifying subcontractor / suppliers claims.
• Compile photos, inspection forms and all relevant documents required for V.O.s attachment.
• Assist PE and PM for all work as assigned.
