Job Description:

• assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies;

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey, Building Construction or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience.

Job Description

Pre and post contract administration and quantity surveying including the following: -

• Cost estimating and cost planning.
• Preparation of tender documents (including measurements and Bills of Quantities).
• Tender management including evaluation of tender submission.
• Assist Contracts Manager, Project Manager in Contract management and cost monitoring, management of interim/progress payment, including variation assessment and finalisation of account.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of construction, logistics, material management and the ability to provide cost and financial advice.
• Relevant duties as and when assigned by reporting manager.

Requirements

• Preferably Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management/ Building Services or higher qualification recognized by Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in supporting Project Managers/Contract Managers in the delivery of projects in engineering and construction industry.
• Meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented and good team player.
• Able to manage stakeholders (Contractors, Client and Consultants).
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.
• Experienced in Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) preferred.

Quantity Surveyor

Location: Telok Ayer MRT

Working Days: 5 days, Monday-Friday

Working hours : 9 to 6 p.m

Salary : $4,000-$5,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quantity take off and cost estimation.
• Preparation of tender submission with specific deadline.
• Source, planning, negotiate and award of contract to vendors.
• Responsible for material order processing and cost control.
• Evaluate and process vendor claims.
• Prepare monthly progress claims for submission to consultants in timely manner.
• Finalize project accounts with clients and vendors.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in related field of studies.
• At least 5 years of Quantity Surveying experiences, preferably in Interior Design.
• Hands-on with Interior Design works will be high priority.
