We are looking for a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the costs related to construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of construction practices, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management & Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and other construction-related expenses. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure that the project is delivered within budget.
• Tendering & Procurement: Carry out tender submissions to various tender portals. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Contract Administration: Review and interpret contracts and conditions. Prepare contractual documents, amendments, and ensure compliance with contract terms during the project lifecycle.
• Budget Control & Financial Reporting: Develop and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas of risk. Prepare financial reports and forecasts, tracking costs and variations.
• Site Visits & Surveys: Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data on progress and quality. Collaborate with project managers to address issues or delays.
• Claims Management: Handle claims and disputes, ensuring proper documentation and negotiation of settlements as required.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experiences in local building construction or Interior Work Industry
• Responsible for pre contract and post contract administration and operation.
• Carry out Quantity take-off for tendering of projects for architectural and Interior Work
• Evaluation and certificate of subcontractors' progress payments.
• Project administration and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Tender and Bidding Team by measuring quantities, preparing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and reviewing contracts and drawings.
• Interpret specifications, handle Requests for Information (RFI) and clarifications, and prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
• Develop the tender base cost, finalize the submission price, and compile all mandatory submission documents.
• Prepare a comprehensive tender cost proposal for management’s review.
• Attend site briefings and kick-off meetings, if applicable.
• Manage contract administration for assigned projects, including procurement of materials, main contracts, and subcontract administration.
• Analyze and evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries for project procurement.

• Previous experience in pre- and post-contract work for HDB BTO projects are preferred.
• Highly motivated individual with strong confidence, drive, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to perform under pressure.
