Job Description
• Take off quantities
• Source quotations for relevant trade works, including price comparisons and cost analysis
• Raise tender queries/design discrepancies for clarification
• Handle tender correspondences and addenda to update changes in tender documents
• Assist in compiling tender submissions, including qualifications
Perform other QS duties as assigned


Requirements:
Possess Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying;
Fresh graduate/ 1-3 years’ working experience related to main building tenders;
Good knowledge of reading specifications and building drawings;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Ability to work with digital softwares (ie Cost X/ Glodon) would be ideal; and

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (ID8378)
Location: Bukit Batok, Singapore
Working Hour：Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm
Salary: $5800 - $7500

Job Description:
-Provide a range of Consultant Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion
-Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, budgetary study and project cash-flow
-Measurement (taking off quantities) for all structural and architectural elements
-Preparation of tender and contract documentation
-Tendering process and tender evaluation
-Post-contract administration and management such as valuation of progress payment, review of variation request order, variation assessment, financial review reports
-Finalization of project final accounts
-Attendance at project and site meeting
-To give proper guidance and mentorship to juniors QS

Requirement:
-Minimum of 6-10 years of QS relevant working experience with both private and public sector clients and a working knowledge of SIA and PSSCOC forms of contract.
- Work experience gained from consultancy firm will be an advantage
-Good technical knowledge for measurement, cost estimating and construction technology
-Understand and familiar with professional practice and contract administration processes
-Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all costs related to mechanical & electrical engineering projects
• Ensure that M&E installations are delivered within budget
• Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage contracts and bids for M&E suppliers and subcontractors
• Review and ensure all M&E works are in compliance with building and safety standards
• Evaluate contract terms with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Coordinate closely with clients, architects and engineers to resolve any M&E related contractual disputes

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry with a focus on M&E projects
• Knowledgeable in M&E systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems etc.
