Position: Claims Manager / QS Manager / Senior QS

• Location: Kranji Way | Office will move to Tuas start of next year
• Working Days: 5 days
• Working Time: 8am - 5pm
• Salary: $3,500-$4,500

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle full scope of QS duties which includes material take-off and variations.
• Provide estimating cost and implement Contract administration for renovation projects.
• Coordinate with project team for the cost estimation for any additional works.
• Ensure proper documentation of records concerning variation.
• Submit accurate cost and time implications to client.
• Preparation and submission of monthly claims to main contractors and receivables for project
• Correspondence and follow up with clients and subcontractors
• Record and maintain montly claim/weekly receiveble reports
• Generate invoices
• Preparation for certification of monthly /ad-hos sub-contractor claims
• Checking for final claims quantity, VO, AO, retention and contract amount for final claims submission
• Maintain data accuracy in ERP software with proper documentation, filling and entries

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct take-offs and measure quantities accurately.
• Review and analyze subcontractor tenders.
• Manage variations and prepare variation orders.
• Compile and maintain project documentation.
• Assist in the procurement process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• 3 - 4 years of relevant working experience as QS; Applicants with higher years of experience may be considered for Senior position.
• Have proven experience in project Quantity Surveying and can successfully manage tasks independently.
