• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or a related field.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering, mechanical piping preferred
• Strong understanding of construction costs and contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

The Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor manages and prepares all the project quotation and cost estimates for the construction projects. This ranges from initial calculations to the final accounts to help in bidding and determining the price of the service. He/She seeks to minimise costs while adhering to the required standards and policies. He/She keeps track of the progression of the contract with regards to any variations. Good communication and negotiation skills are needed for discussion with stakeholders. He/She is responsible for enhancing the overall value of the project while keeping to the standards and policies. He/She is office-based and will go on several site visits.
