Job Description
· Participation in pre & post tender documentation.
· Handle progress & payment claims, variation orders and finalize project accounts.
· Administration of tenders – source for quotation, tender and contract documents including bill of quantities, cost estimation, cost control and budgeting.
· Taking off quantity for tender.
· Communicate & coordinate with client/consultant/project manager for claims and variation matters.
· Handle subcontract awards and documentation.
· Manage correspondence on contractual and cost issues.
· Supervise junior quantity surveyor.
· Assist managers with other duties as required from time to time.
· Other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
· Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.
· Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
· Possess at least 5 years of working experience in construction field, however marine construction is a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.
· Able to start work immediately.
