• Manage the handling of parcels related to client orders.
• Assist in sourcing external resources (e.g., boats, freelance crew) as needed.

• Ensure all procedures for handling client orders are followed, and that counter staff are aware of and comply with requirements.

Customer Service:

• Ensure counter staff meet company expectations in delivering customer service standards to clients.

Miscellaneous:

• Support company projects as directed by the operations manager.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the operations manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in maritime or logistics-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the harborcraft, maritime, or logistics sector.
• Experience in team management.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• Strong team player.

• Develop new customer relationships and enhance gross profit.
• Utilize telemarketing and personal visits to both potential and existing clients to boost sales and foster customer loyalty.
• Coordinate local sales campaigns for international partners/agents.
• Lead commercial strategy development and implementation.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities and identify growth potential in current accounts.
• Participate in bids, RFQs, and other commercial activities, including quotation preparation and follow-up.
• Engage in networking events to expand industry connections and drive business expansion.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing ventures.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention, balancing compliance with local regulations and dispute resolution.
• Manage cash effectively and collaborate with Credit Control for efficient credit management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
• Proficient understanding of Singapore ports and maritime regulations.
• Strong commercial instincts and a drive for business development.
• Excellent communication and people management abilities.
