Job Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities preferably in Business Administration and Health Sciences.
• 2 years of relevant experience in service/hospitality/healthcare/retail industry, are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in English communication and writing.
• Ability to read, write, and converse in Chinese will be an added advantage as liaising with our counterparts in China and Chinese customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the quantity surveying team in contract administration to ensure quality and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms.
• Participate in the project tender process, leading the team in tabulating quantities and pricing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and amendments.
• Prepare and monitor project cost budgets; track changes in design and construction work; manage variations; and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Administer progress claims, back-charges, variation orders, indemnity warranties, final accounts, and collections.
• Provide management reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building Construction / Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying or contract administration in a similar role within the construction industry, with at least 4 years working for a main contractor being advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and have good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Meticulous and analytical, with excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

This position generates new business by managing business relationships between UPS and designated Enterprise Accounts. He/She executes business plans by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue goals. This position leads service and sales activity across UPS's portfolio of products and services including Freight, Package, Forwarding, and Distribution. He/She drives global business growth through solution development, customer-facing communications, contract development, value creation, and negotiation. This position obtains knowledge about customers’ competitors to consult customers on UPS solutions that support their market competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains contract compliance and renewal process to ensure elements of contracts are being followed and negotiated by both UPS and the customer.
• Maintains and monitors customer information and account performance data for Freight, Package, and Forwarding and Distribution to track sales performance against sales objectives.
• Utilizes business information and analysis reporting tools to assess account performance analysis.
• Monitors and tracks competitors to gain competitive intelligence to be used in engaging prospects and customers.
• Builds high level Customer Relationships
• Identifies key decision makers within customer organizations to expand business opportunities across the enterprise portfolio.
• Works with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive account strategies for retention, penetration and acquisition of accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Business, or relevant discipline. Master’s Degree or MBA will be a plus
• Possess at least 7-10 years of experience in a field sales role.
• Candidate with strong experience background in life science and/or medical device/pharmaceutical industry (or related) with extensive knowledge of GMP/GSP/GDP environment and 3PL/4PL experience will be an added advantage
• Candidate with healthcare regulations knowledge or healthcare service experience is strongly preferred
• Familiar with ISO certification knowledge (especially ISO 13485:2003)
• Proven track record of increasing sales against plan objectives in previous assignments
• Business related travel will be required
