The position
The APAC Market Unit is looking to identify high calibre, professional consultants across all levels to join a newly formed client team (4 days per week, 1 day from SimCorp office / home). This is not a traditional Simcorp consulting engagement where you just deliver a solution. You will have the ability to work within a highly regarded customer business participating in the delivery of solutions using a wide variety of tools that are part a leading-edge agile tech platform. You should be prepared to be rewarded with a rich development opportunity whilst flexing and growing your existing knowledge of the Simcorp One platform.
This is a unique experience to partner with one of the world's leading Sovereign Wealth Funds. The team of consultants will have an integral part in achieving customer satisfaction and accelerating our client’s projects to success.
We are looking for consultants to join the team in early Q1 2025 and will consider, Principal or Senior Business Consultants to act as Ambassadors for SimCorp, delivering top class client service for the duration of this project.
Previous experience working with SimCorp Dimension is essential.
In the role of Software Development Manager, ABOR, you will be expected to take an active role in the ABOR service line to improve implementation expertise, know-how of ABOR consultants within our market unit and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the development of SimCorp Dimension® to the client’s platform
- Monitor the results and quality of SimCorp Dimension® implementation to the client’s platform
- Oversee the development of solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of SimCorp Dimension® and its features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered
- Assist the client to achieve full business value in their implementation
- Designing client specific solutions based on SimCorp standard systems and offerings.
- Act as a trouble-shooter when difficult technical issues occur.
- Act in the capacity of an extension of the customers business driving successful outcomes in an efficient manner.
- Potentially responsible for mentoring other employees.
- Consultants will participate in all aspects of implementation, including design, configuration, integration, and training.
- Depending on areas of expertise, consultants will be made responsible for one or more streams in the project
- Advising on process improvements through better use of Dimension.

- Oversee the development of SimCorp Dimension® to the client’s platform

- Oversee the development of solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of SimCorp Dimension® and its features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered
- Asset Management – Front, Middle or Back Office workflow understanding
- Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and an ability to work well under pressure.
- Degree/master's within Finance, Economics, Accounting.
- Experience and knowledge within accounting standards / regulations e.g. IFRS9, USGAAP, Tax
- Experience and knowledge with the financial services industry
- Several years of experience supporting SimCorp Dimension solutions, covering the following topics:
o Investment/Financial Accounting
o Fund Accounting
o General Ledger Accounting
o Reconciliations
- Constantly willing to expand your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension® and the clients’ businesses in order to ensure that clients get the optimal configuration and workflow.
- Are result driven, creative, and analytical with a global perspective.
- Have excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- An attitude to make things happen and an ability to work under pressure to manage successful outcomes for Simcorp and the customer.
