Checkout.com is seeking a dedicated Manager, Procurement and Regional Business Partner (APAC/MENA) to join our Procurement team to support the business growth and expansion.

The role will support the planning, implementation and purchasing and procurement strategies for various goods and services spend across the company globally. This includes acquiring resources within budget, facilitating communication between team members, suppliers, and key business partners, and proactively planning and sourcing the appropriate goods and services to help Checkout.com grow and meet its strategic objectives.

In addition, the Manager will be responsible for vendor performance, ensuring quality control throughout the contracting and performance lifecycle. You'll also ensure Procurement and AP guidelines, processes, principles, ethics, and sustainability objectives are all accounted for and constantly strive to deliver the lowest TCO for solutions.

Reporting into the Global Head of Procurement and Expense Operations, this is a key role with significant opportunity to have impact and build trust as an SME. You'll have the autonomy and freedom to deliver innovative solutions, support regional specific needs and global category plans.

As a Regional Planning Director, you will be working closely with local media teams to drive regional strategy & operational excellence across the region.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Work closely with global and business lead to develop regional guidelines in adherence to global strategy
• Day-to-day Client Lead
• Work closely in support of the account/network lead on all operational and network matters
• Ensure local & hub adoption and adherence to global guidelines, mandates, benchmarks
• Work together with hub team to drive operational excellence across execution and reporting
• Ensure media deliverables are met on time and within budget and align with clients' objectives
• Manage hub transition & activation timeline
• Facilitate & manage all global and client requests (e.g. plans/spends/reporting, vendors rate cards/media kits, etc.)
• Ensure clear documentation on all communications with all parties
• Develop, manage cross-country planning/buying process and scopes, billing process flow
• Review and facilitate work orders for regional funded activities
• Manage finance/billing request (i.e. status updates) from client
• Work closely with finance team and local markets to report on financial matters
• Work with Hub team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing (e.g. regular review of unbilled reports, resolve unbilled cases with Finance)
• Follow-up with clients on aging matters
• Able to lead and manage strategic business partnerships that are critical to the client’s business
• Experience in driving strategic business development recommendations and ensuring follow through of the same across teams and markets
• Solid integrated planning experience and able to develop guidelines / toolkits to help ensure consistency in planning principles across markets for the business
• Able to drive business plan reviews across markets in alignment with the client’s goals
• Experience in working with multiple digital ad techs and is able to lead in developing, planning and activating data driven initiatives alongside the planning team
• Experience with managing brand safety guidelines and ensuring local market teams are adhering to these guidelines
• Strong team leadership skills
• Able to work collaboratively across specialist partners within the network

The core mission of Singapore Airlines (SIA) Digital Innovation Lab (DIL), also known as KrisLab, is to drive the digital innovation strategies and initiatives, enabling SIA Group to be the leading digital airline. SIA digital innovation is focused on delivering business impact at speed through partnerships with staff intrapreneurs, Business Units (BUs) and the global innovation communities. A strong, execution-focused team that drives innovation from an idea through prototype development, Proof-of-Concepts (POC) to validate business case and technology feasibility and to launch an idea to the market is critical.

Your role as a Lead Digital Innovation Technologist is to lead a team of technologists and developers to drive the development of digital ideas submitted by SIA Group staff and also the BUs through DIL innovation programs to deliver impactful business outcomes and support the building of an innovation culture in SIA Group. The role includes the following:

1. Technology Development and Support

- Oversee a team of technologists in managing the ideation and prototyping process for digital ideas submitted by SIA Group staff and BUs, employing the build-measure-learn concept:

o Manage the ideas pipeline: evaluate, validate and incubate ideas

o Validate ideas through various means such as interviews, user testing

o Partner with SIA Group staff and/or BUs to drive the articulation of impactful problem statements and design low-fidelity prototypes or wireframes for validation

o Prepare and assist staff with pitches to senior executives/management and key stakeholder

o Perform overall project management from prototyping through the MVP stages

- Oversee a team of developers in building high-fidelity prototypes and POC, and provide technical leadership in solutioning and selecting tech stack

- Design, set up and institutionalise the technology development standards, practices and processes for ideation, prototype and POC solutioning, put in place and manage the requisite digital toolboxes and sandboxes (hardware/software) in KrisLab to support such developmental and solutioning efforts

- Lead the team to facilitate discovery of new and emerging technologies, articulate relevance and contextualise use cases to BUs

2. Partnership Engagement to drive technology development

- Coordinate with external open innovation communities and partners (e.g. Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) research institutions, incubators and accelerators, VCs, etc.)

3. Business Engagement to drive corporate innovation and intrapreneurship

- Develop strong relationships with BUs and IT to establish deeper understanding and better articulation of business opportunities, customers’ and business pain points,

- Formulate immediate and long-term strategies to explore and address the business pain points and challenges

Required Skills & Experiences

· A degree in a technology related discipline, preferably with good project management experiences applying Agile, Design Thinking, and Lean Start-up methodologies

· Professional Scrum Master certification

· Minimum 7 years of related working experience, including 3-5 years in an innovation role and/or software development

· Extensive experiences working in start-ups, incubators and/or accelerators and/or aviation and travel industry will be advantageous

· Proven track record in managing projects
