Description of Division/Branch

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform strategic and commercial analysis to support investment decisions.
• Work alongside consultants and advisors (especially engineering, legal) to support the negotiation for various project documents including technical documents, term sheets, partnership, financing, interconnection, EPC, and supply agreements.
• Manage project schedule/timeline for a complex cross border large scale renewable energy project.
• Actively engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Prepare internal updates, investment approval papers, etc. to seek Management and Board approval.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience in energy/renewables (Power, Utilities or Transmission) industry, preferably with some background in project management / procurement.
• Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering)
• Ability to interpret and review technical documents
• Ability to interpret, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including EPC and consultancy agreements.
• Ability to independently conduct strategic and commercial analysis.
• Cross border transactional experience within SEA or APAC (not essential).
• Good understanding of Power market in Singapore, as well as the risks and value drivers
• Demonstrated ability in successfully working with cross-functional teams including technical groups, accounting functions, and project development.

Key Responsibilities:

SALES MANAGEMENT

· To achieve and exceed both hard and soft targets as set out by the Company as well as its Suppliers and Brand Owners.

· To network, develop and firmly establish the various channels necessary to reach targeted segments

BRAND MANAGEMENT

· To establish a brand strategy for the overall branding of the Company’s brands, ensuring healthy sales performance of each brand that will eventually achieve the Company’s sales target and objectives whilst supporting positive business growth.

· To manage marketing communication, communicating brand’s messaging and value propositions to customers and media

· To plan and execute public relations activities to get media write-ups on Company’s brands and products.

· To create a strong brand image and to increase the product’s perceived value to the customer and thereby increase brand equity.

MARKETING MANAGEMENT

FORECASTING & PRICING

· To work closely with Regional Brand Manager and Sales/Marketing Manager to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and marketing programs.

· Provide comparative sell-thru study for new product forecasting.

· Recommend and suggest pricing of new products and analyse competitor’s pricing and action as well as planning for counter action where necessary.

PROMOTERS MANAGEMENT

· To oversee the management done by Sales Personnel

· To ensure proper management of Promoter’s duty and shift roster.

· To ensure a consistently high standard & image projected by the Promoters at all times.

TRAINING

· To oversee the management done by Sales Personnel.

· To ensure proper conduct and organize monthly product knowledge and soft skills training for all promoters.

· To develop a training curriculum to ensure operational readiness.

· To ensure all training materials and quality training programs using different methodologies and environments are in place to ensure successful transfer of the necessary skills and knowledge and meet learning objectives.

· To package best practices in learning programs.

· To analyse the effectiveness of training through feedback and evaluation from call monitoring, thereafter determine appropriate actions are taken to ensure standards are kept.

· To ensure clear and consistent communication on all matters pertaining to training and operational matters.
