The Security Technology lead will provide direction and leadership to the specialist electronic security engineering and consultancy services (including integrated electronic security system such as video surveillance, electronic access control, intrusion detection etc.) in Singapore and South-East Asia. Arup’s Singapore Resilience Security & Risk (RSR) team is providing high end advisory services in Singapore and South-East Asia. The team currently has personnel with professional qualifications and skills in Security Risk & Strategy, Security Technology, Protective Design and Cyber Security.

The Opportunity

• Drive the overall performance and growth of the Security Technology team as part of the RSR leadership cohort.
• You will project manage a range of security projects, either direct security commissions or as part of larger multi-disciplinary projects. Here you will be responsible for the client interaction, project financial matters, quality assurance, delivery and resourcing.
• Undertake, manage and deliver the security engineering (electronic and protective) design for a range of facilities and/or for a variety of projects through all stages of design from concept, detailed and tender design to construction, and within established quality, budget and project expectations.
• Proactively approach clients, identify and develop business opportunities for RSR and other Arup disciplines. This includes planning and implementation of new market offers.
• You will develop and implement long term strategic plans to grow the RSR business in Singapore and across the region.

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in electrical or electronic engineering or IT or similar area.

As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive

• Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the overall commercial management of how the bank engages and spends money with its external third-party suppliers. The SCM Global Technology Team is looking for a candidate with strong Leadership experience in Technology Procurement and the gravitas to engage and influence senior Stakeholders within Technology & Operations (T&O).
• The successful candidate will lead a team of experienced technology sourcing professionals and be responsible for influencing and driving sourcing decisions in collaboration with senior Corporate and Investment (CIB) T&O stakeholders and related CIO/COO leadership teams.
• Leads and manages the SCM CIB Technology Services team with responsibility for managing approximately $750m of annual supplier spend across CIB.
• Manage senior relationships within CIB T&O to influence and define their vendor strategy.
• Reviews the relevant bank expense line that aligns to sourcing categories in order to understand the nature of such expenditure with the objective of optimisation and cost reduction through Supply, Demand, Governance or spend compliance actions.
• Ensures that business sourcing strategies are developed in conjunction with T&O and use them to drive greater commercial benefit for the firm.
• Support country teams in their execution of cluster/country initiatives that are aligned to the global strategy.
• Lead the execution of Strategic Sourcing initiatives that will deliver sourcing solutions that meet the needs of our bank wide stakeholders in a cost effective and optimised manner.
• Act as the interface between country sourcing teams and Group Technology sourcing for their IT related activities.
• Manages supplier risk to establish a stable supply chain that allows the bank to provide uninterrupted services to its stakeholders.
• Manage the SCM Technology Services team, ensuring a high quality of delivery across the team to support CIB T&O
• Monitor the team’s performance against the SCM Scorecard and put actions in place throughout the year to meet Scorecard targets.
• Ensure that direct reports have development plans in place and are developing in accordance with those plans.
• Effectively manage direct reports in terms of workload management, task sharing, regular ‘one to one’ meetings, supporting deal execution as applicable and providing direct feedback.
• Own and drives the overall global SCM cost savings target for the SCM T&O
• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical conduct, ensuring that Fraud and ABC risk are mitigated in all sourcing events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• Understand the CIB business and T&O functional strategies to enable SCM business alignment so relevant procurement strategies are developed to support and influence those needs.
• Create and maintain in conjunction with CIB T&O a sourcing strategy that includes cost reduction (including needs assessment, demand management etc.), innovation, market intelligence risk mitigation and sustainability components.
• Explore and leverage strategic supplier partnerships opportunities to further the use of preferred suppliers.

Business

• Define opportunities covering the Supply, Demand and Governance aspects of the supply chain and detail the specific actions that will optimise the consumption of the categories products or services
• Create cost efficiencies and support expense line management by directly influencing CIB budgets.

Processes

• Lead the Global Category Managers (GCM’s) to produce best and compliant sourcing outcomes for each CIB area.
• Ensure stakeholders understand their obligations under the TPRM policy and procedures.

People & Talent

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
• Employ, engage and retain high quality people.
• Develop skill set of hub-based resource to be able to compliment onshore team.
• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.

Risk Management

• Accountable to ensure that all initiatives undertaken are executed in accordance with SCB’s third party risk management policies and guidelines.
• Data Quality of all meta data is at the highest level
• Support and execute necessary actions and deliverables to meet existing and new regulatory requirements that relate to the bank’s supplier base.

Governance

• Ensure all sourcing activities are logged correctly and are Audit ready at all times
• Ensure the SCM CIB sourcing activities are always audit ready

Our Ideal Candidate

• 12+ years of experience in category management in the Financial Services (FS) technology background
• Specialisation in the Corporate Banking portfolio is required for this role
• Degree or equivalent qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Law
• Professional Memberships: CIPS or similar desirable .

About the Role:

• Oversee Asia communications plan based on the Global Communications strategy and local priorities.
• Define and execute integrated internal and external communications plan aligned to region and country priorities, narratives, projects and campaigns in partnership with Regional Heads of Property and Asia teams relating to Workplace, Branch Transformation.
• Proactively build and partner effectively with key leaders (including client Regional Corporate Brand team) and Cushman & Wakefield stakeholders across functions and markets to ensure effective positioning of Property in Bank-wide, or Property communications initiatives/ campaigns.
• Act as a strategic advisor to Regional Head of Property and Asia senior leaders, establish their media presence via opinion pieces, interview opportunities and external speaking engagements in partnership with our global agency.
• Work collaboratively with the business teams to identify and execute thought leadership stories that will further promote the Property brand in region, by leveraging/co-authoring with C&W Thought leaders, to position Property as Thought Leaders topics in the Future of Workspace.

About You:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; with 10 – 12 years of Asia communications experience, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, exceptional writing and editing skills for diverse audience.
• Highly motivated, organized, adaptable and able to perform under pressure and within tight timelines.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful internal and external communication strategies.Blend of strategic mindset with hands-on communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder relationships.
