Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute regular reviews of planning parameters, updating inventory control parameters for products in the ADC.
- Actively identify and propose improvements to global policies for inventory management at the regional distribution center.
- Collaborate actively with suppliers to enhance availability and reduce logistics costs while minimizing inventory levels and working capital.
- Work closely with the country planner to align on forecasts, lead times, customer orders, and new materials.
- Lead and support the Planning and Inventory Control team.
- Monitor and resolve escalated issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize the impact on customer satisfaction.
- Design and maintain reports for operational and analytical use, including backorder reports, PO reports, inventory lists, short-shelf-life inventory reports, and non-moving item reports to provide visibility of orders and stocks to the planning team and stakeholders.
- Update, analyze, and report performance indicators related to service levels and inventory management performance of the ADC, driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily operations of purchase orders.
- Generate purchase orders for factories/EDC/NADC and monitor order status to ensure timely goods receipt.
- Communicate scheduled delivery dates and related changes to stakeholders promptly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders for inbound shipment booking, tracking, and customs clearance to ensure on-time arrival.
- Collaborate with forwarders to resolve cargo damage and insurance claims.
- Actively contribute to the documentation and maintenance of work instructions and procedures and participate and/or lead in relevant projects.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and providing training support.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Logistics or business related fields
- Minimum 5-7 years of Supply Chain Planning and purchase order management experience including team management
- Good knowledge of supply chain management such as forecast and planning, inventory management, air and ocean freight, import and export trade compliance, etc.
- Experienced user of material requirements planning (MRP) and ERP systems. SAP is preferred.
