Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders/clients to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or related quantitative fields
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, constrained optimization, sentiment analysis, graph community detection, etc.) and experience with applications
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
• Experience with distributed data / computing tools: Hadoop, Kafka, Attunity, Dask, Spark, etc. is a plus
• Experience developing and/or deploying in environments (AWS, GCP) and containerization techniques (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Elastic) is a plus
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Experience in the design, planning, and implementation of data science projects
• Experience creating and using a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) is a plus.

Job Description:

• Lead and oversee the deployment squad in the successful deployment of the KPMG Powered Data Platform, specifically focusing on the code deployment flow through various environments.

• Ensure effective analysis of release scope, version, and non-functional requirements to support seamless deployment processes.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment methods and templates based on project needs.

• Analysis of Release scope, version and relevant non-functional requirements.

• Deployment squad resources/capacity planning.

• Tracking inter-stream dependencies.

• Testing of Code Release packaging on DEV, Automation of Code Release packaging on TE1 (SIT) and TE2 (UAT).

• Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving automated overnight E2E Data Migration executions for all squads in on TE1 (SIT) and TE2 (UAT).

• Job flow execution of E2E Data Migration on DEV/TE1 (SIT)/ TE2 (UAT)/ PRODenvironments.

• Troubleshooting Execution issues, escalation to DEV squad if required.

• Reporting on the results of higher environments E2E Data Migration executions.

• Resolve those defects impeding test execution progress across all streams of testing.

· Proven delivery capability in delivering data migration projects and development of data migration solutions

· Strong professional acumen with the ability to translate technical detail/issues to business level / Layman’s terms

The ideal candidate should possess:

· Bachelor in computer science, engineering, information systems or related.

· Technical skills in ETL toolsets, data visualisation software’s, SQL/Oracle and coding experience.

· Usage of project productivity tools would be an advantage. E.g. JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Teams.
