The Hematopoietic Stem Cell Laboratory laboratory under Prof William Hwang is looking to for RF who can bring the skillset to the hematopoietic stem cell expansion platform.

Education Qualifications:

- PhD with minimum 2 years of relevant experience with specialisation in stem cell culture.

Relevant Experence:

- Perform induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and/ or mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) culture.

- Experience with induced pluripotent stem cells is a plus.

- Ability to read, analyse and interpret scientific data and publications.

- Immunostaining, microscopy and image analysis (e.g. FISH).

- Experience in handling tissue samples for derivation of cell lines.

- Stem cell biology and differentiation.

The Senior Research Office/ Research Officer will oversee the progress of research studies under the Program for Nasopharyngeal Cancer with the supervision of the Principal investigator Dr Darren Lim. You will perform a variety of research activities which include planning and execution of experiments for biomarker discovery, novel diagnostics methods and drug development for Nasopharyngeal Cancer.

Your main duties will include:

1. Tissue Logistics:

- Tracking of biological samples received in the lab pertaining to the study

- Collection of patient samples (FFPE, Tissue, WBC, DNA or RNA) from Pathology

- DNA/RNA extraction from frozen tissue or FFPE

Job Summary

Bacha Coffee is hiring a Customer Service professional to handle all incoming customer inquiries and calls in regard to our Brand, products, and eCommerce orders via Brand.com as well as pure player eCommerce marketplaces.

The role requires knowledge of the online luxury retail business and a solid foundation of quality service standards.

Primary Relationships

The position reports to the eCommerce Manager.

Within the organisation, this position has primary working relationships with the eCommerce team, IT and Warehouse teams, as well as staff with similar positions within partner and franchise organisations.

Outside the organisation, the position coordinates primarily with vendors and service providers (marketplace enablers, third-part logistics providers etc.) as well as customers from online and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage engagement with customers to ensure care is taken to uphold the best standards of service including response time, quality of replies, follow up, etc.
• Handle all incoming calls and customer inquiries via Brand.com and any other channels, responding in a professional manner, and helping customers to resolve their issues. Ensuring that queries are replied within 1 business day.
• Be able to provide information about Bacha Coffee’s products and services when necessary.
• Initiate email correspondence with customers, when required.
• Liaising with external partners, such as third-party logistics providers, to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure availability during non-office hours during peak sales periods to assist when required with mega campaign order processing and customer service.
• Monitor customer inquiries, and provide insights into customer behaviour and suggest improvements to increase customer satisfaction, engagement and commercial opportunities.
• Working internally and with external teams to ensure that strong relationships are built and maintained with high-net-worth customers to enhance their experience with Bacha Coffee.
• Assist in developing and implementing customer service policies, procedures and standards to ensure that Bacha Coffee’s standards and quality are consistently upheld.
• Monitor response times, customer recovery standards, ensuring that targets and KPIs are met.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, including the digital warehouse, to ensure that customer queries and issues are resolved promptly, with quality.
• Utilise customer care systems or other tools to follow up, close cases, and proactively outreach to customers when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experience in a customer service role.
• At least 2 years of working experience in online D2C.
• At least 2 years of experience operating pure player marketplace backend systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent command of English
• Meticulous, adaptable, possess an eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience in mentoring team members is a plus.
• Experience in utilising customer care management tools is a plus.

The Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) was formed in 2016 to be the central coordinating platform for translational research and multi-centre clinical trials for thoracic malignancies in the Asia Pacific region. It is hosted by National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Executive will provide administrative support mainly for the ATORG team and the Principal Investigator (PI) in other aspects outside of ATORG. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, apart from internal functions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support including managing PI’s schedules, reimbursements, handling correspondence, minutes taking and organizing meetings with internal team and external committee meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) of ATORG’s network in APAC.
• Travel Arrangements: Organize and coordinate travel plans, accommodations, and itineraries for PI and KOLs.
• Office Management: Oversee office supplies inventory, ensuring availability and placing orders when necessary
• Communication: Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring messages are relayed efficiently.
• Assistance with research administration, which may include grant management (application, tracking of progress, reporting), purchase requisitions, consultancy agreements and documentation for scientific activities
• Coordination: Coordinate with different departments, vendors, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations. Assist in the planning and execution of education events, board meetings, and conferences. Able to work with external event agencies.

Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The types of events include, but are not limited to, virtual, hybrid and in-person advisory board meetings, educational seminars and workshops. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, and manage key stakeholders at a regional level.

Main Responsibilities:

Organise events (60%)

• Responsible for managing events from startup to execution
• Communicate effectively and manage internal and external stakeholders and service providers
• Plan timeline for each event
• Draft budget, including sourcing of funding and reconciliation of funding and expenses
• Handle all logistics, inclusive of procurement (eg. venue, online/travel arrangements) and on-site management during event
• Develop marketing materials such as posters and collaterals and for social media
• Write meeting minutes, if required
• Administer pre- and post-event follow ups
• Manage agreements between key stakeholders, vendors and industry partners
• Manage manuscripts from drafting to publication.

ATORG Operations (30%)

• Manage operational duties of ATORG; this includes procurement of stationery and devices, collating of department information, updating of mailing list.
• Act as a liaison for department administrative matters

Other Duties (10%)

• Assist in any other work as assigned, which may include administrative tasks

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) shall help investigators conduct mainly investigator-initiated clinical trials. The CRC has to ensure that clinical trials are conducted and recorded in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, all applicable regulatory requirements and the Clinical Trials Operations’ Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accomplish the study’s target enrolment as per agreed study timelines or shorter through effective recruitment strategies.
• Regular discussion or follow-up with study team on subject screening & recruitment rates eg. email communication or team meetings with Drs.
• Timely response/followup to email enquiries within 10 working days or less.
• Foster good working relationships and collaborate effectively across all streams to promote operational efficiency
• Invoicing is carried out on time and payment can be received with minimal delays.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing, Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Healthcare / biological sciences, preferably with experience in clinical trials or clinical research.
• 1-2 years experience in the conduct of clinical trials, specializing in Heamatology / Oncology interventional trials, governed under Health Product Act.
• Must have knowledge of setting up cell therapy trials.

As a Research Associate at Lucence, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development and optimisation of new genomic medicine technologies in our fight against cancer.

Your key responsibilities would include:

• Working closely with R&D team members to establish and maintain a reliable molecular diagnostic product pipeline that fills critical R&D goals at Lucence.
• Planning and executing laboratory molecular diagnostic experiments to implement new assays and improve current assays, including analytical and clinical validation of assays.
• Writing summary reports, contributing to scientific discussions and presenting technical data to achieve R&D objectives and to advance R&D efforts.
• Contributing to research-oriented projects for clinical validation of tests (in collaboration with external organizations).
• Maintaining workflows and writing standard protocols for performance of validated molecular diagnostic assays.
• Participating in knowledge and technology transfer to other technical sections of the company.
• Performing lab management duties including procurement and inventory management.
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned to further Lucence’s progress in R&D. This may also include authoring publications to share Lucence’s research and clinical findings.

To be a good fit for this role, you would have:

• At least a degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or its equivalent.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, real-time PCR, molecular cloning, genotyping and NGS.
