RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support assigned Schools to ensure that the faculty administration and talent acquisition practices are aligned with the SMU's policies and practices.

Job Summary:

The Operations Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our mobile gaming company. This role involves a mix of administrative duties and legal and compliance-related tasks. The successful candidate will help ensure smooth operational processes and support the team in maintaining legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support:

• Manage the COO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence for the COO.
• Prioritize and manage the COO’s tasks and deadlines to ensure smooth operation.

Operational Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and execution of operational initiatives and projects.
• Track progress of ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and communication.

Project Management:

• Support the COO in managing strategic projects by creating project plans, tracking deliverables, and reporting on progress.
• Identify and address any operational challenges or bottlenecks, proposing solutions as needed.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and following up on action items.

Communication and Liaison:

• Act as a liaison between the COO and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Administrative Tasks:

• Perform general administrative duties such as managing files, handling correspondence, and organizing office logistics.
• Assist with event planning and coordination for company events and meetings.
• Oversee the completion of administrative tasks and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong command in English and Mandrin to serve global customers and communicate with global stakeholders.

Basic Salary: $2,390 per month

Responsibilities:
• Handle correspondences via emails, hardcopy letters or over the phone
• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, photocopying and filing
• Any other adhoc administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level and above
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to commit for at least 3 or 4 Months and above
